Cooking the vegetables breaks down the plant fibers making them easier to digest, thus increasing the calories. I noticed that also when I started researching these so called "Negative Calorie" foods.

Being a hardcore long time griller, I always look for cast bronze burners for durability and longevity. Propane is caustic and eats just about everything else.

I usually make a large pot of my homemade tomato bisque about once a month. Super low sodium, super low calorie, very hearty and satisfying. Only about 97 calories per 1 cup serving. I eat 2 servings and my appetite and taste buds are completely satisfied, don't feel the need to add a side dish.
