175 calories per bottle. It brings tears to my eyes every time I buy a case.

Don't set yourself up to be a defeatist. 6 days eating within your calorie goals and one "oops" day don't equal weight gain or a slip up. Live by the Imps' motto... "Lighten up, life's too serious to take seriously". Don't stress on the small stuff. Plan for the good things to come, not the little "oops" in your life.

Oh hell, with the acoustical renderings of the Impette and the little Impress, my musical offerings don't stand a chance.

I vaguely remember the whole ordeal. But, apparently when I was good and juiced on the N2O, I was making passes at the doctors assistant. She was extremely attractive and I had just temporarily lost all of my inhibitions. God I love nitrous! After that, I don't remember much until I woke up. Other than the fact I was on a…

I hate leftover pizza! It always ends up in my belly.

I met my Impette on eharmony. We're coming up on our 8th anniversary. Best woman I ever met.

I like birthday suits.

Tuna and salmon are strong flavored fish. Tilapia can also have an earthy flavor to it, probably because they literally eat crap. Have you tried the milder flavored white fishes? Cod, Swai, Haddock, Halibut... Also, removing the skin from skin-on filets can lessen the fishy taste.

First met my Impette in April, ask her to marry me in June, married in September. That was 8 years ago.

Shame on all of you! I'm workin' hard and earning my keep.
-
Lets just say I have a new food scale and it's already worn out.

The Impette found a surprisingly tasty sandwich treat that just happens to be very low in calories. Radish sandwich spread: 1 cup chopped fresh radish 1/2 cup low fat cream cheese Splash of lemon juice 1 Tbsp chopped parsley 1 Tbsp minced chives or scallions 1 1/2 Tbsp Capers (rinsed) 5 black olives chopped combine all…

Looks like you and I started out in the same boat and docked at the same port. I was finally able to get off my cholesterol and blood pressure meds just recently, not to mention that I also got my blood sugar back down to normal. You can friend me, we seem to have a lot in common.
-
I was on cholesterol and BP meds, and the doc was constantly hounding me about my ever rising blood sugar. Now I'm pretty much clean as a whistle. I pretty much gave up everything made with white processed flour. Gave up white rice, potato chips, corn chips... Gave up processed foods. I now eat a lot of raw vegetables,…

Grilled Zucchini... Grilled Asparagus... Grilled Portobellos... Grilled Salmon... Grilled Chicken... Grilled Butternut Squash... Grilled... Grilled... If you can cook it on the stove top or in the oven, you can grill it. Only it tastes better grilled. Everything I grill usually starts out with a drizzle of olive oil and a…

It means you're bumping the topic to the top of the message board. Newest post always go to the head of the line.

Too late, but maybe a trip to the spa would be in order. I could use a make over. How's this?
-
I started seeing results on the scale after the first month or so. Didn't really notice the physical changes until I dropped the first 30 lbs. Didn't truly notice the psychological change until very recently. Finally understood the real health benefits after my last bi-annual blood work.

Add a touch of olive to a fry pan and saute over medium to medium high heat. If you have a George Foreman grill, you could try that. Grilling is better, but you can come in a close second with the stove top.

Portobellos sliced about 3/8-1/2 inch thick. Drizzle with a little evoo Pinch of kosher salt sprinkle of granulated garlic Gently toss together to evenly coat the mushrooms without breaking them. Let stand for 10 minutes to let the flavors meld. Grill on hot grill til tender and juicy. Damn near as good as nice steak.

I am not a smart *kitten*!! I'm a scoundrel with impish tendencies.

I freely admit, my mind went to a place it probably shouldn't have. Seriously though, I pretty much live on my boat during the summer months. Ponds, rivers, lakes, oceans, if you can put a boat on it, I've been on it.

Well, this site must really go overboard on the over estimates: http://www.nutristrategy.com/activitylist4.htm The woman wanted some information so I gave her a link. What she does with the information is up to her. I'm not here to judge, criticize, or offer my inexperienced opinion on the subject.

Try this link: http://www.healthstatus.com/calculate/cbc Standing burns about 107 calories and hour, give or take, depending on your weight.

How to put this without coming across like an old crotchety cynic... Sorry, I can't, I am an old crotchety cynic. All I can suggest is take a serious step back, cancel the pitty party, and do some serious soul searching to find what motivates you. I spent 25 years gaining weight, watching my blood pressure skyrocket,…

Every single morning at exactly the same time I weigh in, Up or down. Being very religious about my calorie intake, any up tic in weight sends a flag to double check my sodium intake.
