  • Are your kids interested in exercise? Mine likes to sit in the stroller so sometimes we go for a walk. Not a high intensity exercise, but it's something.
  • I just did a 21 Day Fix workout today and added the workout in manually. I try to estimate on the low end so that I don't end up overcompensating with extra food:) I did total body cardio today and estimated a 200 calorie burn.
  • I agree with these posters. Keep trying because you're losing and that's great! I think you should try to add any kind of movement that you can-even fidgeting as much as you can throughout the day while you're working or whenever could be helpful. Also, I think you've said that you do not want the WLS. I hope you don't…
  • Make sure you're eating enough! My situation was a little bit different (I took it in February while working and pregnant but I started pretty early and probably studied about three hours a day for about five months), but I always felt snacky too. I felt like coffee, fruit, and anything with protein were the most helpful…
  • Congratulations on being preggo!! I'm definitely no expert on pregnancy (I'm a little over 38 weeks with my first), but my experience with weight gain was not what's recommended at all! I gained almost 15 pounds the first trimester, about 25 more the second trimester, and I've gained about 5 in the third trimester. I was…
  • Hi Ladies! I used to track my food/exercise on here all the time, but quit when I got pregnant. I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant with my first. I keep telling myself that I WILL not freak out about how much weight I gain, but I admit I am getting pretty anxious to get back to running and tracking my food for weight loss.…
  • Cosmic Brownies used to be one of my favorites in high school!-I think they're Little Debbies, they have those colored chocolate chips on them. YUMM!! I also love nachos with that fake liquidy cheese-I get them at baseball games or at taco bell. I'm not a huge fan of real cheese (unless I'm really in the mood), but I LOVE…
  • Love long run days-you get to eat more!! haha. enjoy!!
  • I've only been married for one year, so I don't exactly have the wisdom that comes with time, but it sounds like you might have to take the initiative here. You can treat him well even if he's not reciprocating, etc. Hopefully eventually he will!! Sorry to hear it's not going great right now :(
  • feel free to add me-i always love a good MFP friend!:)
  • I'm not currently running, but I did a half marathon in January, and will begin training for a Spring marathon as soon as I get these last classes finished for school. Feel free to add me, I love runner MFP friends:)
  • I just looked at your diary (hope you don't mind; if they're open I usually figure they're fair game). I'm concerned for you-it looks like by "cheat" you mean eat more than your usual 300-500 calories per day. Have you been doing this for a long time?
  • For awhile I had my calories set to maintenance, and then I tried to stick to right at or a little under my calorie goal (with 1-2 high calorie days per week-I think my body likes them and so do I!). I just reset my information to reflect that I'm currently sedentary (law student sitting on my booty about 10-12 hours per…
  • OP-I have no Hooter's advice, never been to one (although I would like to check it out! I've asked my husband if he wants to go with me before, but I think he just assumed I wasn't serious haha). But I would definitely eat those exercise calories back if you're burning that many per day! Exercise gives me a huge appetite…
  • I've realized something really quickly when I got married-for all of my OBSESSING about dieting and calories (I've seriously been doing it since I was 8), I know NOTHING about the dietary needs of a man. My hubby is the most attractive guy I know, but he wants to lose some weight. I used to try to "help" by suggesting we…
  • Me and my hubby always say we eat right/work out for better sex. It's (sortof!:) ) a joke, but it keeps it lighthearted. Sometimes I'm trying to lose weight, and sometimes he is. It doesn't matter to either of us what the other one currently weighs, but we do support each other. The hard part for me is staying in my…
  • Just sent you a request-welcome!!
  • So glad your hard work is paying off!! Congratulations!!
  • Congratulations on a GREAT accomplishment!!
  • Congratulations!! I loved this post! I have family members with heart issues, and this makes me hopeful for them:)
