  • I use a Lenovo ThinkPad daily at work and was happy enough with them to order an IdeaPad for home and gaming use.

  • They made an annoucement today that it was being delayed until October I believe.
  • Guild Wars 2. You have to buy the game to play, but there is no subscription fee. The game will be released on August 28th and it's an absolute joy to play.
  • 4 days till the Aug 25th head start. Can't wait! I will be on the Jade Quarry server. If you will be playing GW2, add meh!
  • Optimum Nutrition - Extreme Milk Chocolate tastes pretty good to me. Especially with a little milk. It's about 130 calories per scoop, and usually in the normal price range. Not expensive, but not dirt cheap either. It IS a quality product that doesn't fudge it's protein numbers like some companies do.
  • In June I spent $190 on groceries (about $47 per week) and $100 eating out (about $25 per week).

  • Soapy water, do not drink. Am I doing it right?
  • You've lost more weight than I weigh. Very nice work!
  • I like to do a short HIIT workout on my bike. 4 minute warm-up Stretch For 20 minutes do an interval for each minute (45 seconds low/mid intensity, then for 15 seconds raise the magnetic resistance a few levels and go 100%) 2 minute cooldown Very effective and challenging exercise for only 20 minutes. It's also variable,…

  • I'm the same when I'm on a calorie deficit. Eventually I just got used to feeling hungry (while meeting my daily calorie and macro-nutrient intake). I think a lot of people just don't like to feel hungry (it's uncomfortable for the common American) and eat just to feel full.
  • To all of you on this thread: Keep being awesome!

  • 1 lb. per week should be exactly what you aim for. It's a slow process. Patience is key. Those 30 lbs. didn't just appear in a month.

  • If NC isn't considered the south, or is even considered toeing the line, then you've never experienced true NC.
  • I do. I had 1 mini Milky Way Dark and 1 triple chocolate brownie cookie yesterday. Still fit under my calorie goal and it helps keep me sane.
  • 3 things assuming physical attraction is a given... -Integrity (which includes being honest, trust-worthy, and loyal) -Giving attitude -Flexible attitude That's it. Simple.
  • One pound per week is ideal. Especially if you don't have to lose a massive amount of weight. Restricting food is tough, no doubt about it. If it was easy, everyone would be thin. Take small steps if you have to, develop your willpower skill, keep fighting if you have relapses and good luck.
  • I do it, at least once per week. It helps me in a lot of ways. 1. It keeps my body guessing on the amount of food it will receive. 2. The human body isn't 100% energy efficient, all the extra calories won't be stored as fat. 3. If I overeat enough, it guilts me into doing really well the next day/week. 4. It helps keep my…
  • You are defeating yourself mentally. YES YOU CAN. You, and no one else, are in complete control of your body and what goes into it. Good luck to you.
  • The law of thermodynamics says no. Ever heard of the guy who did the Twinkie diet? He ate twinkies, oreos, doritos, etc.. for 10 weeks, but he ate in a caloric deficit and lost 27 lbs. I wouldn't worry about it. The 80's made us think that fat is the devil, but that's simply not true.
  • In 2009 I was in a car accident that laid me up for about 3 months. Broken ankle, wrist and clavicle. It sucked. But, with patience and perserverance, I slowly starting exercising and becoming active again and now I feel like I'm even better shape than I was before the accident. Don't let it get you down.. absolutely…

  • Getting comfortable happens to the best of us. Sometimes the burning fire of self-improvement in your soul starts to dwindle, and it's up to you to consciously get it burning red hot again. Grit your teeth, positive thoughts, let the energy flow and it will happen again if you want it.
  • Treat yourself. I certainly do, sometimes I'm OVER 1,000, 2,000, or even 3,000 calories for the day. It helps me for several reasons... 1. It keeps my body guessing on the amount of food it will receive. 2. The human body isn't 100% energy efficient, all the extra calories won't be stored as fat. 3. If I overeat enough, it…
