  • London here! I've been here for a long time, but i haven't logged anything in ages. I just joined a gym, so might as well jump on here, too! <3
  • Thanks! it was absolutely fantastic! now there's portraits up, too! we made everyone get their picture taken in their costume :) http://www.lfpress.com/news/2011/10/17/18838501.html right from the very beginning we knew we weren't going to do the same old thing. so it' was a dream come true!
  • I'm actually form London, Canada :)
  • Thanks everyone! <3 it was as much planning as a regular wedding! we didn't have any flowers and had mexican food for dinner. it was beautiful and fun and making everyone dress up in a silly costume made everyone not so uptight. it was so amazing!!
  • Yes! it was a Halloween wedding! we got everyone to dress up in the costume of their choice! it was a blast and everyone had a great time!
  • I'm 5'4 210, 26, and no kids, I'd like to get down to 180. I'm lazy, un-motivated and I don't eat well. I'm using MFP to hold myself accountable for everything I eat. it's hard to do on weekends because I'm hardly ever near a computer. that's where I fail.
  • women's multi vitamin and a fibre supplement. Sometimes I take royal jelly when I'm a little low on the mood spectrum :)
  • not sure abot the water, because you should be excreting it (sweat, urine, feces), but the food does take a few days to show up.
  • Awesome! thanks Ladies!! I'm getting married in 79 days, I don't think I'll see too much change by then, but there will be a bit at the very least! I LOVE the look of women who have muscle! every time I see one I admire her for working so hard! I can't wait to be one of those women! I also don't have any equipment other…
  • there's no easy answer, it takes a long time. I smoked for 3 years and quit in March 2009. I still can't run, I can jog though (I don't do it often) because she is exercising every day I honestly don't think she'll gain that much weight. I gained weight because I replaced the cigarettes with food. Really though, how long…
  • I agree. indulge. you are NOT a bad person. I'm having Tuna casserole tonight. that's MY guilty pleasure. pasta, cheese, and tuna.

  • I usually shop at thrift stores, but I find sizing varies by brand. sometimes it is a little bit irritating that I fit a size12-18 but I try on EVERYTHING that I think might fit and just buy what looks and feels good :)
  • Monday-Friday this is my routine I usually slip on the weekends :( 05:00 wake up get dressed 5:15 eat breakfast 5:30 make lunch, gather things for work 5:50 leave for work (I ride my bike to work in the spring /summer/ fall) 6:20 get to work and start work, fill up water bottle (I usually drink between 5 and 15 glasses of…
  • Awesome! I've just recently learned some of those, I've been on here on and off but hopefully this time is for good! I now know that even if I have a "bad" day I should log everything anyway, that way it just doesn't disappear. you're doing great! 10 lbs in a month?!? that's incredible!
  • honestly not exactly sure.. the website is www.morningbananadiet.com it lists all of the 'rules' with it. this morning a single banana and a glass of room temperature tap water actually filled me up. I made my journal public, so you can see it. I think the bananas I had were bigger than what MFP said, so I had 2 (one at…
  • I'm 5'4 and have always been big. My ultimate goal weight is 170, though everybody(on here, and society, not anyone I actually know) thinks it should be 140. the last time I was 140 was when I was 16.. I think I've done quite a bit of developing and growing since then.
  • I LOVE Friday Eve! I already worked out today, so i'm going to work until 1:30, and then go home and work on stuff for my booth at the flea market this weekend, then make dinner and clean up! maybe watch a movie in there somewhere :) Thanks for asking!
  • to make a nice dinner for hubby, cuddle up on the couch, watch a movie, maybe have some drinks and have some "alternte" cuddle time after
  • For this Friday Eve, I woke up late, got to work on time, so for now work and study while i'm here, and then going to check out some rental space at a weekend market, and then working out after I get home, then making dinner and hanging out with hubby and crafting! Life ROCKS! Happy Friday Eve everyone!
  • you're getting married on the 8th of October? I'm getting married on the 15th! I'm doing this for my wedding, too. i'd like to be more fit, and obviously lose a few pounds, too. i've already bought my dress, but it's adjustable :) Good luck!
  • Woot! I'm from London, ON too!! Represent! bahaha
  • they're good breadded and baked. 350 for 20 minutes, flip and cook another 10. I'm sure you could poach them, too.
  • I crave protien too. i usually head for beef jerky or nuts but a boiled or fried egg satisfies me too. it's odd, but nice, cause it's not that 'empty' feeling after binging on cookies.
  • yay you! I've had to do this a few times to my own husband... He's getting the picture though.

  • peraps change up your workout routine a bit. our bodies get used to doing the same things all the time. maybe one day go for a run, the next day go for a walk. i have found doing interval walking/jogging has worked out pretty good for me. or you could even buy a workout DVD... I like those, too. Good luck Girl! Stick with…
  • Just stick with it girl!! no cheating!! you still have 3 months! incorporate some strength training into your days along with a LOT of cardio! also, this is something I found out yesterday, don't forget the sunscreen! nothing is a worse setback than having a giant burn across your shoulders. so Sunscreen and lots of water.…
  • I don't actually have kids, and his laziness is exactly why! he does help me out a lot more than he used to. I pay half the bills. he pays the other half. I do all of the cooking, otherwise it would be pizza pops every night. i clean up from dinner, or else it wouldn't get done. i do the laundry, he's supposed to put it…
  • I REALLY hat how it's more socially acceptable for a man to be fat than a woman... women 'have' to be skinny and beautiful ALL of the time to be accepted. not men... i don't know about you ladies, but i also feel the burden of a relationship is a major stress factor... we have to work full time to help pay the bills, we…
