I just searched same topic in community pages and from the comments I think I'll save the $50. If you are determined and serious about logging the free version works just as well. I'm back on here from a long break myself. The regular MFP app worked fine for me in the past and going to give it another go! Good luck!

I have a preexisting back condition, emergency surgery to L5, S1 in 2008. I recommend walking and walking a lot. I remember walking did not bother my back in recovery so I walked everywhere. Yes, I saw the Varidesk but noticed it looks a little small to me, I would need a larger desk to hold my files and spread out a bit with my paperwork. But this is great feedback!! Glad to hear people like it as I've been sitting in an office chair for way too long!!!!!!!! Thx all!

I found that when I had just 10lbs to lose it came down to nutrition for me. If you are true to yourself and strict with your logging you should be able to lose the 10lbs in no time.

Yes you will benefit from weight training but I found there is no such thing as spot reduction and my stomach has flattened by my diet mostly ... I do the weight training but when I really watch my calorie intake and drink plenty of water is when my belly flattens rather quickly. Not sure if this is because I'm pear shaped…

Stick with your same routine... A few cramps might cause a "slower" workout but its way better than "no" workout. I find I feel better if I just suck it up and move on... Otherwise I run the risk of not getting back to it.
