It looks good by looking at your diary, and it seems like you're on the right track! I notice you drink an oatmeal smoothie often for breakfast. Maybe reduce that down to half a serving, and save the other half for a post-workout snack. I'm sure it's very filling. Once your metabolism bumps up and can match up with what…

Your calves are sore probably from not wearing shoes while doing hi impact moves....

I also just completed day 8 of 30ds. You will thank yourself later if you stick with it and do it every single day! That's where you are going to see maximum results. Do wear tennis shoes while working out. You don't want to injure yourself. I personally eat between 1700 and 2000 cals a day depending on my mood, the amount…

Would doing planks on my elbows rather than my hands be equally as effective? Or should I say forearms...

I'm in the exact same boat. I had two c-sections 3 and 5 years ago, not to mention my c-scar appears to be much higher up above my bikini line than others I've seen. That may or may not contribute to the lack of strength in my core. I just finished day 8 level one of 30 day shred, and as much as I try to do the crunches in…

Great job! I'm on day 7 and don't notice much of a change, but this is very inspirational to keep going strong!

I tried weight watchers for three weeks and gained 7 lbs... Not a fan of their program.

I have both a treadmill and an elliptical (made by proform) and I enjoy them both. I used to be more partial to the elliptical, but find myself using the treadmill more nowadays for endurance.

Your wrist size will fluctuate with weight. For instance, right now I am 197 lbs, and my wrist measures 7 inches, and can't touch my thumb and finger around it. When I weighed 130 years ago, I was able to get my fingers to over lap. According to these tests, my bones supposedly grow and shrink with my weight? Just eat…

It really seems like these trainers are trying to "wow" you with amazing, immediate results to get you to return for more sessions. Which to them is $$$$$. I'd think about that for a moment.....

I highly doubt with your height and weight that your bmr is less than 1000. I would also recommend, for your own sake, to reevaluate what this trainer is telling you. At such a deficit, your likely to gain back any weight you loose, plus some, once you ease off this "diet" the trainer has put you on.
-
I would ask your trainer, WHY? Why such a restrictive diet? What calculations did you use? Can you show me in scientific form how this is safe, helpful, logical.... Post him up a little bit and challenge him on it, especially if you're paying money for his services. If his answers don't seem reasonable based on what you've…

Anybody have a good homemade protein bar recipe they could share? I miss baking!! :)
-
I use pure protein minis in chocolate. They are a bit bigger than a snack size candy bar. 10g protein and 1 g sugar! Taste pretty good too!

Go to exercise, the my exercises and click on the tab to the right that says create an exercise. You will need a hrt to track your calories so you can log them.

I'm sorry, I miss informed. It is an additional 8 oz for every 25 lbs over weight. So roughly half your body weight should be consumed in water each day. My nutritionist isn't the only one who recommends this. 50 oz seems very little to me, especially if one is exercising hard and sweating....

Name's Jessica. 28 and 5'2 CW 197 GW 125 Started journey the 1st of January.... Think I may be your twin! Lol

I'm 5'2 and my goal weight is 120-125. I've been down to 115 before, it DID NOT look good on me... I had "horse mouth" and had family concerned about an eating disorder ( and I swear I didn't have one) I have a medium frame also. I want to be comfortable and look and feel healthy in my skin :)

I'm down! Just finished level 1 day 4 today! Also took measurements when I started. Gonna try to take before photos tonight. Everyone here is welcome to add me as a friend :)

Just sent request. Your kids are so stinkin' cute btw! :)

My nutritionist has told me to drink 64 oz of water each day PLUS an additional 8 oz for every ten lbs you're overweight. I weigh 197, bmi chart says I should be around 130 ideally... So I should be drinking roughly 120 oz of water each day. You can use the bmi chart and calculate your ideal water intake. On days I drink…

I'm in!

I bought mine at best buy, in-store.....

I have a polar ft4 also and I love it! It seems to be pretty accurate as well!
-
A lot of nutritionists will say drink a minimum of 64 oz per day PLUS an additional 8 oz for every 10 lbs you are overweight according to your ideal bmi. It seems hard to drink so much, sometimes more than 100 oz of water each day, but it REALLY makes a difference!
-
I have a polar ft4 and it seem to be rather accurate. I've also heard really great things about fitbit, of course after I purchased the ft4.

I had cracking and popping in my knees several years ago, went to a specialist and he described it as the cartilage between the joints rubbing against each other. It was from over extending my knees when I bent over. Make sure you are using proper form during your exercising ie: knees don't extend past your toes, keep a…
