Why would you not use Garmin for the cycling too? I sync my cycling to MFP and gave no issues. Garmin brings the same categories over as Strava would too.

I have recorded my last 117 mountain bike rides and I average about 9.07 calories per minute. These numbers are based on me being 47 years old, male and weighing 94kg.
