Hey...why not try to lose inches, not weight...your BMI is healthy right now. You will look and feel better if you maintain your current weight, but turn any fat you have(which I cant imagine you have to much) to muscle. Weight bearing exercise is your best bet. Hi Megan! It's great to meet you....I am new to myfitnesspal as well. Would love to be your friend! Where do you go to school? I think your goal of losing ten pounds is very realistic...as long as the holidays are not too crazy fo you. 1-1 1/2 pounds a week is a nice amount to lose...what are you doing for exercise?

Hi Byebye200! Don't dismay...according to my calculations, you should be eating beween 1700 and 2000 calories a week. Try adding some additional protein to your diet, not carbs...this will help you to burn fat when you are exercising....but EAT because you are starving yourself BIG TIME!
