We bake ours, but have pan seared it also with the panko and its still super good. Thanks for the share!

Try it using Panko on the chicken, its less calories that parmesan cheese coating and gets crispier :) Oh and Bump brings the post to the top of the page.

Panko is awesome on chicken breast and pork chops also.

Its my understanding that HRM algorithms are designed to work at higher heart rates only. Meaning its not as accurate at sedetary heart rates, more so at elevated. Thats not to say it wont give you a number of burnt calories for a day, but it wont be very accurate. Bodybug or fitbits are the "claimed" all day units, but…

Please Please Please take this BS crap away from here. Meal supplementing is a complete JOKE. When you stop doing this you havent learned how to eat proper meal portions and will gain everything you lose back. Learn how to eat better and exersize.

Wife has a Polar FT4 I have a FT40. For basic function the FT4 is plenty good. FT40 has VO2 max adjustments for a little more accuracy as well as workout storage. Well worth having

Thats been my primary program since I began. Bang for buck the Intervals work well. As far as calorie count goes on my Elliptical counter I burn 1/3 to 1/2 more doing intervals 40 min than just a steady pace for 40 min. The thing you cant count is what happens post workout. Your heart still is doing the same ups and downs…

Thanks all for the input. I guess was more wondering would it still do anything 2 days after?
-
Yes I stretch for probably 3-4 min before and 4-5 min post workout.

MFP recommends 8 cups a day. Not 8 oz :) 8x8=64 oz a day

If you dont start now, it wont be 125 to lose. It will be 130 or 140 or 150 etc to lose. Think of it that way. I had 70 to lose when I started and said Ill be damned if I let it get to 75-80-100 or whatever as the starting point. The thought of getting heavier yet was worse than the starting number. Give that a thought and…

I bought the POLAR HT40, was planning to buy FT7 but they were sold out. Luckily sears gave me the better one for the lower price :) Love it so far! Just dont be shocked when your actual burns are lower than what you thought before.

What he said.

Never meal supplement with the stuff. You need to learn how to portion controll. I have used Herbalife as a post workout protein smoothy from time to time.
-
I Maybe instead of a forum posting, you should take 5 min and ask him about it in person. If it makes you uncomfortable I'll bet he would stop.
-
Yes that was my question in a nut shell. I didnt know if a more base model (FT7) had the potential to graph. Thanks for your insight. If anyone else has a way to achieve this with a base model please comment.

Anyone??

Most fitness info says .8 gr per lb of lean mass for a female and 1 gr per lean mass male. Protein helps the recovery process, therefor allowing you to workout harder more often.

5 days a week. Sun-thurs. 50-60 min a night. Rest friday and sat.

I just believe that you need some sort of fuel for your workouts, not saying over eat but something certainly helps. Its my belief that if you starve yourself(fast) when you do finally eat, your body clings to whatever it can. And that to me is not a good plan.
-
Bingo. But HIIT also increases your oxygen recovery post workout also, therefor continuing to burn calories longer after the workout. Bottom line it is working for me.
-
I couldnt do 8 min the first time, then hit 10-12-15-18-20. Now I do 40 minutes-5 days a week. Most days doin HIIT 10 min warm up, 20 min of 1 min hard as I can go, 1 min relaxed repeat, 10 min cool down. It certainly works. Keep at it!

Also after reading the artical your posting I dont believe in the Fasting end.

40 min on the elliptical, 10 min warm up, 20 min of 1 min hard 1 min med paces, 10 min cool down. I do 5 days a week. 17 LBS lost in 1 month doing so.

Intervals, By far and away are better than just using the machine at a constant pace. I do 10 min warm up, 20 min of 1 min hard as I can go 1 min med pace, 10 min cool down. 40 min total. If you have a heart rate monitor, watch it for 30-45 min after working out constant and then watch it the same after intervals. Your…

Chicken Parm, Baked chicken with Panko over multigrain pasta and red sauce. Usually is less than 500 cal also :)

Anyone??

How about using this as a post workout Protein recovery? Not looking to use as a meal supplement.

I wish I had a way to upload a picture of our 11 yr olds collection. Stripped down there are 5 10-gal totes full. I keep telling my wife she is crazy for keeping buying more. LOL

Something else to think about. I have 2 kids. If they want mcdonalds from time to time, Im not going to deny them that. That being said I used to have a 1600 cal dinner from there, now its about 650-700. Cutting back on junk but still working hard will equate to weight loss.
