Pin Press PB today - hopefully I can do the same on Bench next week. 2 @ 70kg up from previous PB of 1 @50kg... pretty happy with that.

Thanks  Great lifts!!

So I'm not sure if I should claim this as a PB or not. Let me know what you guys think. This morning while training Bench with my PT he draped between 10-15kg of chains from the bar so when I had the bar at starting and at full lock out the amount on the bar was 10kg (just because I can't tell you exactly I'll assume the…

Matched my previous PB on bench today - 60kg (132lb) Absolutely thrilled with the 5kg jump in two weeks! There's been some awesome weights thrown around in here! Keep em coming people!:drinker:

Added 2.5kg to my Bench this morning and improved on technique  so that's now a total of 57.5kg, 10kg to go :glasses:

It's my current goal. I'm still 12.5kg away from it, but I'm gonna get there!! :smokin:
-
That's awesome Deeva  You know that's only 2.5kg from the ACT State champ BP weight for the over 95kg weight class!! Awesome stuff!! :drinker:

Ok, so this isn't a PB, but I haven't done bench in a while. (PB is 1 @ 60kg) I'm 12.5kg away from current state champion BP for my weight class, which is so incredibly awesome (my PB is only 7.5kg away). Current champion lift is 67.5kg (149Lb) 1 x 12 @ 20kg (44lb) 1 x 12 @ 30kg (66lb) 1 x 10 @ 35kg (77lb) 1 x 8 @ 40kg…

No new PBs for me, but we worked on grip. Plate pinches, farmer's walks and reverse barbell curl. My forearms are going to hate me tomorrow! Once again Deeva, fantastic result on the BP!
-
Woohoo! Awesome work on the PBs Deeva! Simply cannot wait till I can smash 100kg in DL! That'd be totally awesome!
-
Gee - are we all hitting so many PBs we can't share them here? Not really a lifting PB, but I was able to prone hold for 70seconds this morning. smashed my previous 45seconds  Hoping to improve on my DL, Squat and Bench on Friday.

...and since I seemed to kill the thread, I'll mention that I've been working on strength some more with my PT. I did a couple of sets of barbell row @ 50kg which is a PB and progressive 4 sets of lat pull downs from 20kg up to 40kg. Also got to drag around a tyre which was pretty fun  What have you all been up to?…

Hey all, I'm in crazy ol' Canberra and plan to lose a total of 40kg to take me down to 79kg (I wanted to stick with a nice round number). My journey has been a bit bumpy of late, but I'm still 12kg down (I did get to a loss of 16kg) and jumping back into it full swing with a new gym, new PT and new ferocity that I didn't…

My trainer is Jeremy Wilson. I believe he broke some of the junior records in 2010 or 2011. He's only in early 20s

Well I can officially say I have started my lifting training. My new PT is a power lifter here in Aus. I got to do my first ever deadlift today so working on technique, but I did 2 x 10 @ 40kg and then 2 x 10 @ 50kg I also got back into bench: 1 x 10 @ 20kg 1 x 10 @ 40kg 1 x 5 @ 50kg And I tried my hand at box…

I have no updates, I've been very naughty and not done much in the way of lifting. Oh well. I'm changing gyms and the new gym has a lot of very experienced lifters (some commonwealth games and Olympic lifters/boxers) so watch this space, you may see some new goals/achievements from me :D There have been some fantastic…

Nothing too flash, but I did goblet squats for the second time today... we did it with a 6kg DB, but I managed really good range which is extremely good given my knee problems! I'm slowly getting those muscles back into good shape and I might even be able to do my lunges soon... Excited about lunges... something…

At least you're back at it and I'm sure you'll be back to your normal weights soon

Boxing! One of the best cardio exercises and you can limit leg movement. It gets the heart rate up!

Happy to say I'm back at the gym after a week off with a neck injury. Not doing upper body today, focused on legs. I still was quite pleased with my leg press (not the inclined one) I did 2x15 @ 75kg (165lb) and calf presses 2x12 @ 75kg (165lb). Not a PB or anything, but it felt good to get back into the weights …

I prefer my kindle, only because I can carry 1500 books with me... it'd be back breaking to try and carry that many books with me if they were 'books'. I too have a number of books I haven't 'purchased' through Amazon. A lot of them tend to be given freely from the author in return for a review, so much so, that I haven't…

Yeah, Wool is on my TBR list... Currently over 1600 books strong. About 15 yrs reading there :) Dystopian books aren't my bread and butter, but I do enjoy them from time to time. Another one I haven't read, but it is hot off the press is: The Moon Dwellers by David Estes, you should check it out! :) Oh and I am currently…

Except in baby clothing! Edit to actually add something on the confidence subject: I've almost always had high self esteem and confidence (except for a small blip in yrs 11-12 @ college) but it's always been something that I know others struggle with. Others in the topic may have already said this, it doesn't…
