Thank you for the responses gentlemen. Garry, pushing through the exhaustion is exactly what I am taking on this week. That and being more faithful with logging on here. Also- no worries about the random friend add! JM, congratulations on getting out from under all the medications! That has to feel great.

I wanted to be a writer and a counselor, and to work with adolescent girls- I wanted to get married, have a big family with lots of kids. I was initially a youth ministry major, but left school when I became pregnant. At just shy of 32, I've worked in medical billing and now customer service with retirement plans, which I…

I do the steel cut oats as well, cooked "al dente", and toss in cinnamon, half a tablespoon of brown sugar or honey, half a chopped apple, and some walnuts. It feels like you're eating mostly apple, with a little chewy mixed in. (I make 2 servings at a time, then just reheat the other portion the next day)

Zhena's Gypsy Tea (free trade, organic, and they have a large variety). Particular faves are the Ambrosia Plum white tea, the Egyptian Mint Green Tea, and for evenings, they have a non-caffienated Red Lavender tea with rooibos, which I am absolutely crazy about.

http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2011/06/perfect-iced-coffee/ I use this base concentrate, made from either a can of cheap espresso or a pound of Starbux Iced Coffee blend (sister's a barista and occasionally hooks a girl up). I put it in an ENORMOUS glass dispenser in my fridge, and it lasts me 3.5 weeks, having one…

Oh, I love you. Thanks! My daily spinach salad that I take to work every day was starting to tick me off. :)

I just cook healthier. I'm a single mom, with a 10 year old son. In some ways I lucked out- he HATES carbonated drinks, his favorite food is brussels sprouts, and he likes artichokes on his pizza. But he also likes corn dogs and macaroni and cheese. He can demolish a bag of popcorn, but his Halloween candy can sit there…

As a big girl, I tried on a number of Asics styles, and found that I really like the cushioning/ gel soles for me as I (attempt to) run. I liked them so much I bought a second pair of Asics cross-trainers for my workout DVDs. Best advice though, is to get fitted at a running store (Admission- I was far too embarrassed, so…

Done. Still a sweaty mess, but I'm hoping I'm less sore on the morrow. Today was a bit rough getting up, and stairs weren't really my friend.

Awww. :) Thank you for deciding to post. You look fantastic! Congratulations!

Done. I'm a sweaty filthy tired pig. LOL. Off to the showers.
