  • From your advice it seem like eating back my cals is what I am doing wrong. And I might need some more hard core strength training in my scheduel. I´m going to try to work on this. Let´s see where it gets me.
  • Yeah, I've been thinking that to. Cutting down on my carbs that is. I just HATE IT. I get really moody (angry even) if I don´t get some carbs over the day. But maybe I could try to be even more precise in chosing them and try to half them maybe... Ugh.
  • Yeah, I have been considering this. I just find it really hard to get those calories back. Feel like I´m eating enough already. Another thing. Is it important that I eat the calories back the same day I lose them or does like... saving them for extra special days on weekends for example do the same trick?
  • Interesting thread! A question: I have, and have always had, a very loose ankle and I easily flip and hirt myself. Is it then good or bad for me to try out these barefoot-shoes? Also - I have had to quit running for a while because of an inflammation in my hip due to my running style (one hip seems to be much stronger than…
  • Really? No one struggling with the same problem or someone who can give me some advice on this?
  • Apple and maybe a few almonds. Smoket salmon, leek and avocado Tuna, red onion, pine nuts and a tiny bit of red chili sauce.
  • Don´t go on fb or mfp again until in the afternoon :-) Step track every bit stay under caloriegoal and not have any chocolate after dinner try to reach my water goal get an early night!!!
  • Just what I wanted to say. Adding protein to all your meals will keep your blood sugars leveled and make you feel fuller longer. Having had boiled eggs in the fridge to stuff in when you feel you need some quick proteins is an easy way to go about this. Just eat your bowl of cereal and then stuff in a ready cooked egg from…
  • Looks amazing. Is black bean pasta any healthier than the normal kind? Or the whole grain kind?
  • Try not to get stuck on chicken for lean proteins. There is so much else. Like lean beef :þ) All sorts of peans (like chicken peas and soyabeans and lentils). Eggs/egg white, shrimps and all sorts of fish. Eating chicken and vegetables every day will make you give up in no time. Also - don't go easy on the spices, just the…
  • Well done ladyamos! You're on a really good track! Keep up the good work and you'll reach all of your goals in no time :þ)
  • I have some fats left (23) - nuts and almonds then? I am in minus 50 on proteins after the day. Dont get it really. What am I doing wrong? I often tend to go overboard on the protein intake but what I really do is trying to stick to the thumbrule - a fistful with every meal. Is that wrong?
  • Veggies and fruit? Like... cucumber and watermelon bites. Baby carrots. As to the bananas.... why not incorporate them into your meals and make them count there? Bananas on your oatmeal in the morning is super good and some cinnamon on top. Bananas in a lunch smoothie with lots of other fruits or veggies or yogurt. Almonds…
  • Hi, I´m Sunny and I´m a 33 year old full time working mom of two kids. I was in the best shape of my life when I got pregnant with my first born, had been fighting off bulemia for a while and gotten to a very fit state from dedicating to a new and better lifestyle. Basically, healthy eathing and lots of cardio and…
  • Rubybelle said all I was thinking when I read your list - although I thought of chicken breast and fresh fish to (salmon or cod are good choices and simple to cook). I also like having something healthy in my kitchen to munch on if i do get the munchies - like some selection of unsalted nuts or seeds. Chia seeds are very…
  • Thx guys! And you´re right. I am going to embrace this. Whatever "this" is - and just hope it´ll stick. In the meanwhile it is definitely a motivation. No way I´m not sticking to my schedule if these are the possible results of being dedicated and consistant!!
  • I added beans to my diet to help take in proteins and get rid of some carbs. Chicken beans, soya beans, black beans, red lens...
  • I guess I´m gonna keep on what I have been trying to do - just try to be better at it. I also decided to put in an extra day at the gym - if that doesn´t work I´ll put in one more work out. So here is the plan 1. Limited carbs - especially after 15:00 2. No free day - just one free meal + a little candy time each week…
  • CW is 65 kg (144lbs) GW in one month is 61kg (134lbs) I´d love for it to be more but this is my realistic goal given my history of weight loss attempts. Hoping this group will help.
  • Amazing! Very well done :-) Looking forward to seeing you "ripped" after 30 days.
  • I think it does make a difference and it is better to chose wheat. It is a good thumb rule always to chose the more "complicated" carbs if you are going to eat carbs. I could go on about the difference in white and wheat but to but the bottom line basically is that from you wheat you get nutritions so they are not "empty"…
  • Thanks. I added Sodium to my Food Diary and it seems that the daily goal should be 2.500. I'm always way below that. Is that goal what it should be or is 2.500 maybe to much? Do you know what is the right amount of Sodium in a day.
  • One thing that comes to my mind is that you might not be eating often enough? Keeping withing your calorie goal is good but keeping your fatburning going at all times requires you to eat often. Never more than 3 hours between a meal is what I would recommend. Also - strength training is good. Muscles burn fat.
  • I totally agree ceri. Not only shapes you differently but makes you so extremely happy. I always saw this as a lonely, boring way to exercise. However, I now am starting to enjoy it. Sometimes I run with a friend and chat and that is fun. And sometimes I run with my iPod and listen to my favorite music. Love that! The best…
  • Thank you all for the encouragement. I'm sure this forum will be of great help. As an extra encouragement I signed up for a run on the 7th of May. 10 km (can hardly manage 5 as it is). What are y'all doing to keep you on track besides this?
