It won't erase the data on your Fitbit but it might remove your previous steps from showing in MFP. I'm not really sure about that.

I've never had that problem, but I read somewhere that removing the Fitbit from MFP and then adding it again has corrected issues. Maybe try that?

I think we are just looking at the word "hunger" differently. Hunger to me doesn't mean stomach grumbling and wanting to eat everything in sight. Just my body telling me it's time to eat. Not starving, not ravenously hungry, just time to eat. Also, I never meant for it to be an "everyone is this way". I was speaking to the…

I know it's easy to give up but you don't always want to take the easy way out. I've had days where I was 1,000 over maintenance and still lost that week. Even if you don't lose and gain a bit, no big deal. Just log everything and move on. I'd say 99% of us have days where we go over. Just don't do it very often. If I know…

For me, I was never truly hungry because I always ate before I felt it. I get hungry now and eat when it happens. I'm not hungry all the time. The "ravenously hungry" was only for a few weeks while my body got used to such a large drop in calories. I could easily eat a large pizza to myself and then follow it up with some…

It gets better over time. It took about 3 weeks for me to stop being ravenously hungry. I used to absolutely stuff myself and when I stopped doing that, my stomach argued with me. I've learned that hunger and cravings are 2 different things. I actually like the feeling of being stuffed, so I bank my calories throughout the…

I'm the same way. Some days I'm active, some days I'm sedentary. I have a fitbit as well and it is synced to MFP. On days that I'm sedentary, I eat what MFP tells me to. On days that I'm active, I eat 100-200 extra calories. I never eat all the calories that are given to me by the Fitbit adjustment since there is a…

You can still eat what you want as long as it fits in your calorie goals. Like everyone else has said...cleanse and detox are basically scams. Make sure you are logging accurately and stay within your calorie goals. Get a food scale if you don't have one already. You'll be surprised at how inaccurate your logging is and…

I'm under my calorie goals a few days a week to save up for my standing date night with my momma. We love going out to eat and banking my calories allows for that. If you aren't hungry, don't eat. However, don't make it a regular thing unless you are over your goal on some days.

Never met a cheese I didn't like. I feel it's the best thing ever created. Favorite right now is muenster but it changes frequently. I have a whole drawer in my fridge dedicated to cheese. Right now I have: Provolone Mozzarella Smoked Gouda Muenster American Colby Monteray Jack Cream Cheese All full fat versions too. Low…

Sounds like you have it all figured out. I would also add getting a weight trending app. This way, if you have ups and downs, you'll still see the trend line descending. I think it gives more data for proper adjustments.

Grease. Greasy burgers, greasy hash browns, greasy cheese steak sub. Yum!!!! Very rare for me now, but I can't live without it. I considered grease one of my main food groups and that's exactly why I'm here on MFP trying to undo all the fatty delicious damage.

Everyone loses weight differently. Some lose consistently week to week but most lose it in stops and starts. Some lose a lot in the very beginning and then it slows down. Others lose nothing in the first few weeks and then start the decline. Just keep with it. It's hard when you aren't seeing results, but they are coming.…

Hard boiled eggs are my go-to early in the day. Baby carrots are hummus are usually my night time snack.

I drink a protein shake in the morning and it keeps me satisfied until lunchtime. I use 1 scoop Pure Protein that I got from Walmart and mix with 12oz of 2% milk.

Libra is the one I use for Android.

Most likely period related. I don't bloat the week before. It's always during and I can carry an additional 3-5 pounds. Should disappear when it's over as long as you are accurately tracking and logging everything.

New exercise routines also cause water retention. It can show a pretty significant bump on the scale but it will come back down in a week or 2. Maybe even sooner. I lose in starts and stops. Might gain for a week, maintain for a week and then drop a few more pounds.

I try to bank some extra calories during the week for drinking on Saturday. I no longer drink beer or fruity cocktails though. It's Captain Morgan and Diet Coke for me. Doesn't put me terribly over my calories. Plus I get pretty bad hangovers now so I don't eat a lot on Sundays either.

For now, it's just weight. I just started again after a long and fattening hiatus. I will be taking my measurements as well and once I get closer to goal weight, my success will be based on other things like strength and maintenance. I like weighing myself everyday. I don't mind seeing the scale go up and down and back…

Crazy serving sizes sometimes. Pickles. I love pickles but was flabbergasted at the serving size. 3/4's of a spear. What?!? Who eats 3/4's of a spear? No sense.

I totally estimate it. For a marinade with olive oil, I log a tablespoon. For lower calorie items like lime juice, I just log the entire lime. While it's not accurate, it still makes me conscious of the calories I'm adding.

You should do whatever works for you. One day won't undo the entire process. In the beginning it's a learning experience. Some find that by working out extra hard or restricting their calories further the next couple days, they are good. However, others may feel it's an excuse to binge more often and it leads to a vicious…

Honestly, I'd say suck it up. That sounds mean but I swear it's coming from a good place. Someone correcting misinformation can come across as being condescending. Bluntness and honesty can come across as rude. The "know-it-alls" are usually the ones that have been here awhile and are trying VERY hard to make sure people…

I agree with those that say save your calories for some greasy goodness. That was always my downfall. No sweet tooth, but give me a burger and fries or some hashbrowns dripping in grease. YUM! Plan out and log your entire day starting with the fast food meal. If you can't see yourself starving all day for what you'd…

From my personal experience, I eat eggs almost everyday & my cholesterol levels are fine. I never eat just the whites unless it's a hard-boiled egg. I give the yolks to my dog in that case. Opinions change on this all the time. One study shows a rise in cholesterol levels, and then the next study shows that dietary…

With restaurants, I try to look up the info online or try to find it in the app before I go. That way it keeps me on track and since I already know what I'm ordering, I don't bother looking at the menu when I get there. No chances of looking at the menu and being tempted to change to something else the last minute. If it's…

I know this sounds very odd, but congratulations on finding yourself disgusting. Everyone has their own moments of "what have I done to myself?" and the strong ones like us will fight it instead of feeling sorry for ourselves. These moments are the ones that keep us going. You will hit plateaus, you will gain a pound or 2…

I'm a little sad to hear that my uterus won't be falling out. Was hoping for free birth control.

I always eat pie on pie day, but I totally forgot it was coming up! I will not be eating an entire one, but I'll have a big slice. Maybe apple pie or oreo pie or cherry pie. mmmmmm...pie.
