Not hungry? Under calories

Today, i wasn't nearly as hungry as normal and ended up below 1000 calories. I considered making myself eat something calorie dense but i didn't want to encourage previous compulsive eating habits to return.

My question is, if genuinely not hungry, is it okay to have the occasional superlow day? I'd really rather eat those calories on a hungry day than force myself to eat when not hungry.

One day = no biggie. Every day = problem. You're fine.

Happens to me at least once a month someday you're too busy and don't think about food or you're just not hungry. Maybe just eat a little extra another day during the week if you're worried you'll lose muscle or fat too fast.

Stress or busyness will do that to me. If I see it happening for too many days in a row I force myself to eat, but it usually passes.

Yup, it's fine to have a low day here and there - especially if you end up with a high day later on.

As long as it's not creating a restrict/binge cycle, you're good!

One day, yes. Regularly, no. You risk a greater amount of muscle loss and other serious health issues that come from lack of nutrition.

I personally bank calories from one day to the next. There are days I eat under and days I eat over, as long as the deficit balances out I feel it's fine. :)

Look at your weekly goal, not daily.

Occasionally it's fine. There will be days when you will want to eat anything that isn't nailed down, so it balances out, really. Just cut yourself some slack on hungry days and don't beat yourself up if you overeat a bit, just remember there were days when at too little. As long as you don't let yourself linger on too few calories or on too many calories for too many days, your weight loss will be fine and likely healthy.

I'm under my calorie goals a few days a week to save up for my standing date night with my momma. We love going out to eat and banking my calories allows for that. If you aren't hungry, don't eat. However, don't make it a regular thing unless you are over your goal on some days.
