Which app is "user friendly" to track weight loss trends over time? Preferably a free app but not opposed to pay a couple bucks.

Yep, this one is great for Android phones.0 -
I tried Libra but didn't like how the trend line was graphed. I use Monitor Your Weight. Simple design, still free.1

Trendweight.com. It automatically syncs with Fitbit if you have an account.0

I got an Aria scale that has wifi years ago. It may not be free but the app is. I can tell you my weight and body fat % on any day in the day two years. Also has graphs and trends. Auto logs and syncs to MFP too.2

Huge fan of Happy Scale! I also upgraded to the pay version (cheap) after a few weeks and I love the information. Tracking a trending weight is essential for me.1

Either Trendweight / happyscale or depending on the mobile phone you have, that also should have a built in app (ie S Health) which will do that as well.1

For web weighgrapher.com allows manual entry.
I use trendweight and initially got a free Fitbit account without a device just so I could enter my weight for trendweight
