I am so sorry for your loss but I am glad that something has woken you up to want more for yourself. I hope you keep up the positive attitude and keep spreading it as well. We all have our journey - thank you for sharing yours.

I'm sure upper would be a lot lower. It's only about 20 minutes long and there's less to get my heart rate up. I will try it and see the next time I do it. I imagine mine would be higher than 44 though.
-
So I finally pulled out my heart rate monitor to see how much I am burning during this program. I know the upper/lower workouts will be less as they aren't quite as intense but for sweat today I burned 329 calories in the 37 minute workout. Not bad for not being an impact workout.

Thank you for the link. We were watching but somehow missed her. I have to show my girls tonight. She is so inspiring!
-
Yes I did. When I did the program I was closer to my goal weight so I didn't lose a ton of pounds but I did tone up quite a bit all over.

Sweat is pretty tough. I was sore for about 4 days after the first time I did it. That proved walking to be tough.

I love ChaLEAN Extreme! I have pump but haven't done it yet (I got it in the sale a couple months ago) so I can't compare. CLX does low reps, high weights where I hear LMP does high reps, low weights. I don't know enough to know what you accomplish for either one.

I started PiYo yesterday as well - I skipped align as I did that the week prior and also tried a few workouts. Some of the workouts in this program will get your heart rate up so don't worry too much about that. I'm looking forward to what these 60 days will do for me. I also got the deluxe version so I plan to check out…

My current favorite is Les Mills Combat. dabucks is correct, it isn't as hard as Insanity but it's fun and still a great workout. It is a lot of punching and kicking but they do focus on form and tell you how to do the moves correctly. It's a lot of cardio but there is a strength dvd/day.

I want to say if it gets up to about 103 but can't quite remember. Give tylenol and a bath to lower body temp. Fevers are good, it's the body's way of fighting, but not when they get too high. You can always call the pedi to check but most likely they'll say to bring em in.

There's nothing unfortunate about it. Quality in your vitamins and supplements is a good thing.

They just opened up the Canada market not too long ago, plus it's hard to be a coach in Canada when the stores sell the programs. That's why you won't find too many. There are some out there I'm sure though.
-
That's true. There are better and it's not really marketed as a protein shake. I've looked at getting supplements individually, and for the ones I want it would be a similar price to shakeology...but I don't typically have a protein shake so I don't have that cost there. But with a good multi-vitamin, pro and prebiotics,…

Here are a couple places I found just by googling, http://www.beachbodycoach.com/esuite/home/PJMCLEAN http://www.teambeachbody.com/connect/message-boards/-/message_boards/message/228357496 Go quick - I got a warning that ads are not allowed so it could get removed.

Why do they make you sign for the shipments? I'm not in Canada, but my shipments always get left at my door. Is that a Canada thing?

This I love! And the original convo was not on mfp.

No but I was a part of it where it happened. I don't like it when people take to another place to slam someone. The discussion should have stayed there...but it didn't and now it's here. She wants affirmation that she was right - that's why she's here and not doing the discussing with the people that asked the question and…

But she's not starving herself. She asked if she was not eating enough based on a calculation...but she ate all day - healthy stuff - and practically forced herself to eat a sandwich because she was going off some arbitrary number that made her sick. The skinny person in question knows what she's talking about. Did you…

This is a fantastic explanation. Thanks!

I think it was 12 weeks for everyone else to notice.

Thanks. I'm going to have to try this!

I made taco soup yesterday. 3 cans of beans (whatever you like, I used 2 pinto and 1 black bean) 2 cans of rotel 1 can of corn 1 lb ground beef 1 packet of taco seasoning water to desired consistency I am also planning to make some chicken chili 3 cans of white beans 2 chicken breast cumin 1 jar of salsa water or chicken…

My cholesterol has been just outside normal ranges recently...so I'm following as this is all interesting to me. Just curious if anyone has done any research on wheat or grains affecting cholesterol.

This! I don't really fill it out totally everyday anyway. I use it as a tool to keep me on track. I've been doing this long enough that I know where my calories are and where I need to focus. When I log it's because I've gotten out of hand and need to focus. I log my food randomly and don't usually add in everything so…

I like the crock pot. You can put chicken in with salsa and seasonings as has been said - eat with salad, in tortillas, or with chips. You can make chicken chili - chicken, white beans, some chicken stock, salsa, and cumin. Chicken with some teriyaki and soy sauce and a some pineapple - server over some rice. I find most…
