  • I've been on WW for 16 days now. I am down 4 lbs so far and I like the program so far, it seems to fit my lifestyle well. With the WW app it does make it pretty simple to track. I am curious if using both the MFP & the WW together has been helpful to anyone?
  • @editorgrrl I sit a lot at work so as long as it gives me some motivation then it is doing it's job! I have definitely picked up on my range of motion this past week.
  • @editorgrrl thank you for the info.....i have been reading online that very thing. Think I may give it another week before I decide if I should return it or not.
  • @eukleja Yeah, I will keep the settings on dominant hand so that it isn't so sensitive but still hoping that they are able to fix this glitch. Otherwise, I like the Charge HR
  • @pteryndactyl LOL!! yes mine was showing correct info at home over the weekend when i first got it but at my office bldg. it was showing a crazy amount of floors where i was earning ridiculous badges.
  • @Alatariel75 Yes, I'm learning that it is more of a fun reminder than an actual report.
  • @shadow2soul That is a good way to look at it. Thanks :)
  • @gsayler860 Good point! I do work in a commercial building on the 2nd floor which is much higher than a typical floor. I may try to test it more at home to see how it registers. Thanks!
  • Wow thanks for posting these pics! It is so encouraging to me!!! I am pretty similar in size and body style and your pics kinda give me a visual on how my weight loss will look. Good job on your weight loss it must feel great! I know I can hardly wait!!
  • Hmm, I was curious to hear a reply to your question as well. As far as the weigh in I don't know how it would hurt to miss that one. Just keep on track with your points and you will be happy at the following weigh in I'm sure.
  • I just wanted to add one more thing. There is a weight watchers group on mfp if you are interested. Just go to the top of the page and click on groups. You should find us there.
  • I am just starting my third week of WW. I am down 5lbs!!! I was suffering with a sinus infection last week and had to get on an antibiotic but i am totally motivated to shed some more lbs this week. Hoping the motivation I am feeling right now spreads on to you too. Good Luck to all and have a fabulous week!!
  • I have just started on my third week of weight watchers online. I have lost 5lbs and am already feeling better. The point plus is such a good plan and just what I needed to get myself motivated. I have the phone app that I use for both mfp & ww. I just bought the calculator to use when my three months is up also so I can…
  • I too have been off and on this site for a couple years. I just signed up this week for weight watchers online and.....here I am already back to MFP. I think I will finish out the 3 months that I paid for with WW but in the meantime I will continue on MFP as well. I believe I needed the point system of WW to get me started…
  • Wow, that is great!! Wish I was in Louisville, KY!! My daughter and I have been looking into trying Zumba out. Bummed because the gym that I am a member of doesn't have it yet. : (
  • Wow, I didn't know about the it being good for weight loss....but I drink it every day at work. I just started drinking it because I freeze in my office at work and needed the help to keep warm and didn't want to drink coffee all day ( i would be wired, so I drink decaf green tea). I put a tea bag in my mug in the morning…
  • YES.... I do that too, but only when I am really focused on losing. Funny but it doesn't bother me at all not to weigh when I am not trying to lose weight. I agree though it would be so much more motivating if I would weigh only once a week.
  • My husband and I watch the show too. Very motivating and believe the prize money should be way higher because these people work so hard!!!! I always hate to see the end of the very 1st show because I don't wanna see someone get kicked off before they have really had a chance.
  • I too am an addict. : ( I have been on a diet that allows no sugar whatsoever. I lost weight steadily with it. The first week of being off of the sugar I felt horrible with headaches. After my body got used to it I felt great!!! Once I lost the weight I went right back to sugar and have gained it all back : ( I know what I…
  • A friend recently told me about these Pure Protein bars. They have 18-20 grams of protein but only 2-3 grams of sugar, and they have 180-200 calories (depending on the flavor you get). Now they are not gonna taste like a Snicker's bar but I like them and they do keep me full. I have found them in the pharmacy area at…
  • No, I believe we have that here in the USA also. You have to definitely have to read the label to see if you are actually drinking juice or an fruit drink.
  • I tried it. It took away my appetite so I never ate, I lost about 20 pounds. I also never slept, my scalp felt like it was crawling, my heart raced and it cost me a copay at the doctors office plus the cost of the medication itself. When I stopped taking it I gained back all of the weight and I am currently losing the same…
  • Boy, I never feel bad about buying a SMALLER size!! Go you!!
  • Hello, Just signed up yesterday myself. This is a pretty cool site and have gotten tons of friends and support already!!! I think this is just the thing I needed to keep me motivated enough to reach my goal. I hope it works for you too. Good Luck
  • Thank you for all of my new friend requests!!!! I can't believe how awesome this site is!!!
  • Yay, So glad to hear from you!!!! Sorry about the bad day Simone, but I wanna send you a bit of my 1st day excitement vibes. Remember your determination for getting involved MFP in the first place. You were feeling just as I am now. Maybe no lose today but tomorrow is another day. @ Leeanne, I am so glad to hear from…
