  • Since your only 4 days late I wouldn't even worry about it just yet. Since you're a virgin you know that you aren't pregnant so I would give it another 2 or 3 weeks before going to see a doctor. It could very well be just that you ovulated late, which happens all the time. I have heard ( I can't remember where so I can't…
  • * I haven't read any replies * OP, I think your friend sounds horrible. You ask people to be in your bridal party because they are special to you and you want them to have a special role in your day. If I ever had a bride tell me that I needed to lose weight to be in her wedding party I would tell her to find someone else…
  • I had Little Cesar's, crazy bread and pepperoni pizza with ranch. It was delicious and quick since I didn't have time for dinner before work.
  • Can you leave him at the sitters for an extra hour after work? Based on the schedule you described that's what I would do. Talk to the sitter and ask if you can start picking him up at 3:15 instead of 2, take your work out clothes with you and hit the gym right after work. That still leaves you with a good 4 1/2 hours of…

  • This is what I do now. When I worked midnight to 10am I would log from the time I woke up til the time I went to sleep and be a day ahead. Now that I wake up at 3pm and go to sleep around 7am this is easier for me. Try different things and see what works best for you.
  • Feetie socks at Payless Shoe Source for those who aren't wearing socks.
  • Direct from Judy Blume, put your arms out to the side and bend up at the elbows. Bring arms together in the center then back out again while chanting "we must, we must, we must increase our bust" No seriously though, I think short of plastic surgery you just might be doomed. On the plus side, you get to go bra…
  • Most people have a hard time believing that I played rugby for a few years in college. They have an even harder time believing it when I tell them that how much smaller I was then. :drinker:
  • Oooh, I bet the chopped onions are tasty. I will have to try that!
  • I make salmon patties, same thing with a different type of fish. Here's the recipe I use: 1 can boneless salmon 1 egg, lightly beaten 12 saltine crackers, crushed Vegetable oil, enough to cover skillet bottom 1 inch. Stir together salmon and egg. Mix in saltines. Cover bottom of skillet with vegetable oil and heat over…
  • I cook one meal that everyone eats. If it's a lower calorie option then hubby eats more, if it's a higher calorie option then I eat less what I normally would. My boys (who are 5 and 3) eat the same amount no matter what it is, they are both in a bit of a picky stage. I will not do two meals, my time is limited as it is…
  • Chew on straws or toothpicks.
  • Is there an overlap when DH gets off work and before you go to work? Would he be willing to stay up with LO while you get a workout in? That's what I would try to do, have DH get LO fed and ready while you do your thing.
  • You absolutely did the right thing and next time (because there will be a next time) don't hesitate to call the police yourself. I think all states have laws against leaving young children in cars by themselves, endangering a child and all. I have been working when we have been called out to a gym where a woman had…
  • In the morning if I don't have time to eat or I just don't feel like cooking, I will make a smoothie using fruits, yogurt, milk, some sugar (optional) and ice. I've also done that for lunch instead of eating chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese with the kiddos. Here's my favorite smoothie recipe and I can get four 8…
  • I track neck, waist, hips, right thigh, left thigh. home - check in - track additional measurments
  • Maybe you can let your son know that his grandpa is very sick and it will very likely get worse? At least tell grandpa what you have told all of us here and maybe he will change his mind about letting others know.
  • I work out before work and just make sure that I go to bed at a time where I will get a good 7-8 hours of sleep. Before work for me also happens to mean I work out at 10pm, thank you shift work. ;) I love sleep as much as the next gal and if I get to bed late I will definitely choose sleep over a work out though, or if I…
  • I would say lightly to moderately active, sedentary would be a desk job not a job at a fast food restaurant. I would probably go with moderately active since you also work out three days a week.
  • I was taking a women's once daily, generic brand. Now I take a pre-natal, also generic brand.
  • When I eat scrambled eggs I easily eat 3 of them along with some bacon. If you enjoy eggs for breakfast and don't mind eating them every day then keep on keeping on. If you are starting to mind eating them every day then put some new things in the rotation. I find that toast with peanut butter is quite filling, I will…

  • Haha, I can't do exercise DVDs at home because I will end up with a child glued to each leg as they try to exercise with mommy. I spend more time peeling children off than actually exercising.
  • Take measurements, even if your weight stays the same you might be losing inches and body fat %. I have heard and seen (from personal experience) that the closer you get to goal the harder it is.
  • I weigh in and record weekly, does not matter if I go up or down. Of course a loss is always better than a gain for me but it's not what I hinge my overall success on.
  • I don't even go to the gym in the summertime! Chasing 2 kids ( or more if we meet up with friends) around the park and then keeping them both from drowning at the local pool are all the workout I can handle. You've posted a great workout that I am sure any parent can relate too.
  • First off, you are brave for telling your story. I applaud you for recognizing that what you were doing was not healthful and making the necessary changes. Second, this is not a Monday through Friday type of thing. You have to be in this every single day or it won't work. Commit yourself to being healthy every day. Lastly,…

  • I also calculated my TDEE to include exercise so therefore I do not log exercise on here. I list my exercises in the daily note section of my food diary. This helps me keep track of what I have done without giving me extra cals. It works for me.
  • I tend to stick the blender in the fridge since I will get to it the next morning. If it separates and giving it a swish doesn't help then I stick it back on the base and give it a blast.
  • My first time going into the gym I was nervous as hell! I use the gym at work so not only was I going to know the people that were in there but I work with a bunch of cops and the ones that were in there are the ones who are heavy lifters. I felt so silly walking in there and getting on the treadmill then just walking…

  • I officially weigh myself once a week, I unofficially weigh myself 3 other times during the week if I happen to be around a scale.
