I hear ya!!! I'm in California and I'll be darned if these idiots we elect don't know when to leave things be. I'm sick and tired of paying for everyone elses life; I'm sick and tired of the government control of business; I'm sick and tired of the government treating me like I'm some dumb azz that just woke from coma!…

LOL, or standing and having a serious conversation and it just happens. Everyone tries to ignore it, but not quite possible.

She's pretty, but she's not exactly stunning either. I don't see how she would get that kind of attention.

You're spot on with that observation.

Change is difficult. I deal with this everyday. I have had a hard time, but I am making better choices everyday. Mentally beating yourself up over it only reinforces the idea that you will never get where you want to go. The way I see it, if nothing changes, then, in fact, nothing changes.

Thank you for the lovely contributions...*sigh*

I am a Nutella Addict. This looks amazing and a much less calorie dense substitute. Thank you for posting!

Nice work! Congrats! You look great!

Just this morning... Toasted English Muffin + Laughing Cow French Onion Wedge + 1 Egg Fried With Pam.

I made the mistake of Olive Garden last night. I ended up eating a whole days worth of calories at dinner and I didn't finish one thing that I ate. I have to say though, I haven't been taking days off from working out and was sore for three days straight. I woke up this morning feeling like a gluttonous beast, but I had no…

MFP is my reality check. It's helped a lot with proportions. I haven't reaped the full benefit of the program though, because there's also the factor of will power and me asking myself do I need particular food now? I'm choosier about what I eat and, consequently, more satisfied by what I eat. I also log after I eat most…

My biggest problem is actually breakfast. I'm actually afraid of being hungry over the course of the day, so I eat way too much to start with and depend on my exercise too much to burn calories. I think that this is not something I will be able to maintain and need a healthier plan for the day. Smaller meals throughout.

I'm from Northern NY, so I'm nearly a neighbor! Hi to all Canadians!
-
Awesome! Will definitely have to try this!
-
Ohhhhhh yeah. I'll second that.

I never actually go down and I kept a similar schedule to you for quite some time. I have a feeling that someone else posted correctly, after you workout your blood flow increases and such to repair muscles. I was always told the worst time to weigh yourself is after you workout. The would seem to explain that.

I try to increase weekly by no more than 10%. After the first week or two, I start to add 30-60 second bursts of speed to a couple of my runs, then after another couple of weeks start formal interval training. You already begun to increase distance and you slowly add speed. I'm a fan of Jenny Hadfield and…

Talk about awkward...

You seem to be more of a caretaker to boy #1, not a relationship. I'm for boy 2. You can't be responsible for someone else's person happiness. Making a clean break with #1 may hurt a lot at first, it stinks when both people are decent people, but take a chance, make a change and go with number 2 (slowly).

I'm 5'5 and the BMI sheet at the doctor's says 125-140. I would prefer being close to 125, but that also depends on what I'm doing. When I was running half marathons I got down to 127 and started getting little injuries, bruising, getting sick more often. So, I've decided on 130-135 long distance running fit.

Congrats. I hate push-ups, good for you.

I think it's just about getting back on the wagon and being dedicated to your goals. When I start to slide off track I try to ask myself, is this bowl of ice cream or this extra slice of pizza more important than a healthy lifestyle, how will I actually feel about this in an hour? I try to find healthier compromises and to…

I've had positive experiences and some negative ones, but far more good. However, I think I was good at weeding out the "I just want to get into your pants and think I'm a hot shot" guys. I would spend a lot of time talking before I even considered meeting them. That alone seems to keep the less serious guys at bay. Any…

Nice!

Nice! That is really inspirational!

For me it's the same, takes forever to lose it, but easy to gain it. This was also true before my hypothyroid issues. For me, the biggest difference is incorporating a body sculpting/toning segment to my workout regimen (instead of weight training) and that seems to help a lot.

Your wedding is your day. However, I also had to accept that their are *some* concessions to family when I was planning my own (which didn't happen). If it's going to break people's heart that he's not present or make you feel uncomfortable, then I would send him an invite plus one only. This may sound mean, but, just…

Congratulations! What an exciting accomplishment and lifestyle change! Amazing!

Highly likely. Mine shifts frequently due to stress, changes in my workout routine and it also shifts when I'm around a new group of women. If you are around the same group of women, over time your period will shift so that everyone is having their period at the same time or near the same time. Odd biological fact.

Okay, so I blew away the 1000 minutes this month...I'm hoping to continue and that this is a monthly count that stays. 794 week one 578 week two 515 week three 256 so far during week four... Running Total: 2143 minutes of exercise in Jan of 2012 I've noticed a few things. I started off strong because the weather was…
