I've been training about a month. I'm following an online program. It started to snow on me during my long run yesterday. I wanted to give up so fast. But it felt so good when I was done :)

I'm doing the Hal Hidgeon beginners program. I have a few days of cross training in there, but I normally bike or elliptical or walk to help keep that endurance. The program has 2 days of strength as part of my week so maybe I'll do Ripped in 30 on those days. I heard that strength training a little during running training…

I've cut out pop (Soda for those not from Chicago). Everything else I've limited how much I eat/eat in moderation. It's no good to deprive yourself.

I'm slowly teaching myself to focus more on the inches and less on the scale. I constantly weigh myself and have mini breakdowns when my weight fluctuates, but I'm trying to learn that if the inches are down, then that is probably a better thing. It's difficult with society as well and their focus on the weight :/

My friend and her mom did it and lost like 25 lbs in a month, but shes slowly been gaining it back. Just learn portion control and eating right, the results will last!
