Yep Chicken Shashlik is great (had one last night) very healthy, then add some pilau rice. If they dont have that then Tikka is a close second. If you really have to go for bread then Chapatti is your friend over nan!

Totally agree, and another master class in cycling today, Sir Chris Hoy claiming his 6th Olympic Gold, what a legend and nice way to bow out on top! The future also looks bright for the women, with Laura Trott also getting a second Gold today at the grand age of 20 :happy:

lol so true. Still don't understand why Americans use month/day/year when rest of world has been using day/month/year for like forever. In regards to weight, use Stones, but now starting to embrace my European thinking of getting used to Kilos as well now.

The problem for UK users is the food database is very much US centric, a poor selection of UK based food. Would be hard pressed to find anything "Sainsbury's/Waitrose" etc Overall find it better using a combo of HRM like Polar FT4 and using MFP :)

Reading most of the posts so far, it appears that in the US it is still mostly the Man that pays. Not sure if you have many Turkish fast food outlets in the US? Here in the UK a Chicken Shish kebab, with lots of salad and pita looking at 300 Calories only. Taste damn good as well :)
