Not a damn thing.

I cut out caffeine when I started keto, but did it because I was having trouble sleeping and waking up. I miss it sometimes.

Whew.. I'm glad it was nothing worse!

If you're having trouble breathing even when sitting you should definitely talk to your doctor without delay. That can be a serious warning sign of heart trouble. Please go get checked out ASAP.

Honestly, I don't even think about it. It's not a thing to me at all. I feel pity for those people that still judge others on such silly things as skin color.

I'm a lover, not a fighter. But I'm also a fighter, so don't get any ideas.

You'll probably get as many different opinions as there are people on this subject. I eat very low carb and it works well for me. You gotta just figure out what diet is optimal for you. Good luck!

The blog I Breathe I'm Hungry (http://www.ibreatheimhungry.com/) has tons and tons of great low-carb recipes. We have the cookbook too, it's great.

He may be depressed or otherwise have serious self-esteem issues that need to be resolved. It would be a good idea for him to bring up his low sex drive + motivation to his doctor.

I quite possibly would eat paper if it had Sriracha on it...

Do you salt your eggs? Eggs have a very low carb count so it's unlikely to be the eggs themselves. It is more likely to be water gain that comes with salt intake.

I stick to a strict 20 or less net carbs per day. I have massive insulin resistance, so when I eat many carbs there is no stopping the hunger until I've really, really overeaten. As far as calories go, I just try to listen to my body. If I'm hungry, I eat, and if I'm not I don't. It usually ends up being around 1500-1700…

I have an open diary. I'm also willing to share recipes. I am not the most active commenter/wall poster.

Yes, I do less than 20 per day. The first week was tough, then after that I felt better than ever. Good luck to you no matter which way you go with it!

I'm new to the group too. I started at 390, and I set my goal weight for 180. I have been 179 as a 19 year old (very briefly, before I ballooned up) and I'd like to get back there again.

Yes, go to My Home, then Goals, then Change Goals, then select Custom and click Continue.

If you're on low carb and you find yourself feeling dizzy, it is usually due to low electrolytes (salt, potassium). A sprinkle of salt with each glass of water will usually do the trick.

Check out cavemanketo.com and ibreatheimhungry.com, lots of great low carb recipes.

In my 20s, I had a lot more tolerance for "bad" foods and treats. I also had a relatively healthy back, healthy knees etc that I could use to work things off. Nowadays... If I do that, I gain weight. Ah well. :)
