I guess that is pretty simple

I figured out how to change the name! I named it Hancock, Marion, and surrounding county runners/walkers.
-
Boooo it won't let me change the name :grumble:
-
I originally was only going to make it Greenfield, but I figured I could get more people if I added Marion county. I will change it to surrounding counties  Thanks!!!

I did Hal Higdon's plan a few years ago and made it all the way to the 10 mile run and ended up with pneumonia. This time I'm just running 2.5-3 miles a few times a week on my lunch break and one long run on the weekends (only increasing .5 ish miles a week on the long run).
-
I want to do one!

LOVE THIS

not sure how to upload to a board, but I changed my main pic. SQUATS AND RUNNING have done this for my booty! I don't have a gap, but I have a great booty!!!
-
I'm 28 and training for my first half too! Yesterday I ran 10 k on my own! I use the nike app. How far into your training are you?
-
rub vasoline on your inner thighs and tada no friction in dresses!!!
-
I chew gum a lot now. I quit with chantix and didn't gain weight, but I stepped up my running which is the reason I wanted to quit in the first place.

Google 30 day abdominal challenges for some ideas that build up each day. I've had 2 C sections and I swear by planks! I do 5 sets holding from between 15seconds and building up to 3 minutes.

I just posted a recovery run topic  I recently read an article (can't remember where now, maybe runner's world) about recovery runs and how you really should do them, but they should be a a slow easy pace to work the slow-twitch muscles. I did my first recovery run today and it felt amazing! I am less sore than I…
-
My body is definately less sore than it was this morning! I'm glad I decided to try a recovery run!
-
YAY! 50 pushups 110 squats and 45 second plank down!
-
You are doing awesome!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!

Wake up 30 minutes earlier and workout in the morning. Gets you motivated during the day and also helps curb your eating for the day. If you do snack at night, pre-plan your meals and snacks and choose the healthier options.
-
Thanks for the invite!!! I  to run and I am glad to be invited to a "local" group!!!
-
I am nursing also!!! I would pay attention to your supply and the number of calories you are eating. I have lost 10 lbs in 19 weeks, but I had noticed that my supply was declining due to my low calorie intake. Personally, I'd rather be 10lbs overweight than have to buy formula.
-
I do the same thing! I will work really hard and loose 5 lbs then in 1 weekend I gain it all back. I have a real problem!

She takes a perscription form of Levocarnitine. She has VLCAD. When she fasts, her body breaks down muscle instead of fat because she is missing the genes that break down very long chain fats. Her specialist told us that the carnitine helps to protect her heart and shuttle glucose into the mitochondria.
-
It is not used for weight loss in my daughter. It is a supplement due to her lack of genes to oxidize and help protect her heart.
-
My daughter takes Lcarnitine. She has a fatty acid oxidation disorder. It helps shuttle glucose into the mitochondria so that it is burned cleaner and easier since she is missing the gene that shuttles fat to the cells during periods of fasting or crisis.

"
If you're peeing that much on only 48 oz of liquid, you may want to make an appointment with your doctor and have your blood sugar checked.
" I agree!!!

When you eat sodium, your body retains water. If you don't drink enough water to flush out the sodium, your body will retain water. If it is water weight, limit sodium and drink more water and it will come off in a day or two.

"as" means "so" LMAO

AWWW!!!!! I miss Nae!!!! You girls look as good!!!!

So what exercise is everyone doing? I usually walk and sometimes do the eliptical, but I was thinking about starting to run again. Is this ok to do while pregnant? I've heard mixed reviews...
-
Well ladies, I just wanted to join you! I am currently 5weeks6days pregnant and I want to make sure that I am eating a healthy well balanced diet. I've used MFP for a few years now and love the site! Here's to not getting GD!!!!!!

I agree that they feel guilty or jealous. I try NOT to talk about my weight loss or my goals with people to avoid this very situation. Some of my co-workers comment on my weight loss "you're loosing so much" or the occasional "your gonna break if you loose any more" and I just say "I really haven't lost that much" or I…
