Recovery Runs
How many runners have really done recovery runs? I found it really hard to do an easy, slow recovery run today, but I did it and it was truly refreshing! If you've done recovery runs, what were your goals for that run? (speed, time, ect)

can 2 days really undo 2 weeks
I am amazed at how for 2 weeks I can do really well and then for 2 days I can gain over 5 lbs by binging on cookies and doritos and crap! It seems that I go down to half way to goal and then gain it all back in just 2 days! How do I stop this???

how long should I wait after eating to run?
I really want to know what a good time to wait is. I just ate a big lunch of rice, beans, lentils veggies ect. Should I wait 30 minutes or is it cool to run now?

I Need McDonalds!!!
Just a vent :happy: Why is it that I cannot eat 1200 calories a day unless I eat junk food??? This is unreal that I am still having problems reaching 1200 a day! I guess I have to pig out :grumble: It feels so wrong though.

Crunches and push-ups???
Should I do crunches and push-ups everyday? Or should I only do them every other day to allow for muscle rebuild-ation?? (I know that's not a word :laugh: ) Any thoughts??

OK so I know that you can't target a location for fat loss. My question is, if I want to loose my huge thighs and hips, would running (a few times a week) and walking up and down stairs (5 days a week) make my muscles bigger or will they thin out with this kind of cardio. Please help!!

weight gain frustration
I know that I was liable to gain wieght once I started eating. I am just frustrated by this fact. I run and eat a lot better now. severe nausea during run
During my run today, I got very nauseous. I still feel sick after resting for a half hour. Could it just be from the heat? I have been running out side for over a week, so I should be used to the work out. I only finished 3/4 of my planned run. I did eat 10 baby carrots about 1/2 hour before I went out. Help with eating
Since I have been counting my calories, I have realized that I never really eat enough calories, except when I eat the entire carton of ice cream in one sitting :blushing: Can anyone give any suggestions on how to up my calories without going to the McDonald's drive thru?? Please HELP!!!
