Wow! Looks like you are losing in all the right places! You are on a journey and the most important thing is that you decided to take it. Don't let the turkeys get you down! You will figure out what you need to do along the way. Some things probably are not super healthy in excess (as you already know like too many…

Look at how cute you look and that great shape God gave you! Don't ever put those baggy clothes on again!!!!!

Fresh fruit, (berries are my favorite) with a little honey drizzle. Yummmmm! Better than ice cream! I actually shed tears (no joke!) when I gave up Greek yogurt to go Paleo.

Perhaps, but let's not be haters. If a particular way of looking at food is helping someone on their journey to health, then more power to them. I don't necessarily need to agree with their logic in order to be supportive and happy for them.

I never really had any issues with gluten, no bloating, no pain...nothing except losing weight was always really difficult for me: slow and frustrating. I cut out gluten and dairy and the weight started dropping off even though I am still eating the same amount of calories. It was a healthy choice for me.

I have struggled with my weight all my life. As a kid I was "pleasingly plump" as my great grandpa called me. I was a slightly chubby teen and then a slightly chubby adult. By "slightly" I mean 15-20ish lbs overweight on my 5'8" frame. When I had my daughter at age 39 I became 30-40ish overweight. My excuse was, "It's baby…

My, we ARE on a journey, aren't we? I used to be able to just start exercising or cut back on eating and lose a bit of weight. Now those tactics aren't working and I am constantly in the learning mode. Exercising 4-5 days a week and staying faithfully under my calorie goal has produced zero weight loss! That's a lot of…

It could be an age-thing as well. I was always super regular but now (40's) very unpredictable. If it is lighter and farther apart, count your blessings!

Thank you! Your thoughts are very helpful!

Wow! This has been so helpful to me! I have been doing the C25K training plan (first time ever!) and staying under my calorie goal and I have not lost a pound in 6 wks! Though I see my fitness and energy levels improving, I have been feeling like this is a lot of work with no results on the scale! So frustrating. I think I…

Forgive me, but what is PB2?

I tried a similar recipe from pintrest but it called for dates and raisins instead of honey and choc chips and you did it in a food processor. They were pretty good but yours sounds better. So trying it.

As someone approaching perimenopause, I have good news and bad news... The good news is you are not alone (obviously!). The bad news is it only gets worse...unless you do something ... losing wieght, exercising and eating healthy as we all already know, but you can support yourself by taking extra B complex: in the morning…

I have it on my Nook and also on my phone. My phone is always with me. MFP takes the chore of logging and looking up foods into the 21st century!!! (I am having agonizing flashbacks to my WW days and having to look everything up, write it all down and then do the math myself... ARGH!!!!... thank you MFP!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't let that number freak you out and discourage you. The Bottom line is it doesn't matter if it's 35, 85 or 105. It still required the same decisons, work, heart and soul to see success. You can do this! I can do this!

Thanks! You are right. I just have to make it the priority of my day/weekend. You are an inspiration to me! From one Wendy to another!!

Great job! I too have 3 kids though mine are older (8yrs to 19yrs.) As a working mom I find it so challenging to make the time to plan, prep, and cook to eat the way I should. I am a teacher so right now in the summer I am doing very well with it but during the school year I don't do so well. Any tips for me?
