@HoneyBadger302 what a great way to exercise! @CeeBeeSlim mmmm I’ll support the name change to the three B’s!

@GodMomKim 👋🏻 hi N. CA, here, too. We are WET, WET, WET! @kevrit - I used to RV. Hubs and I enjoyed the pandemic hiking trails and biking beaches throughout US! It was so fun. @KJLaMore what is this list? It seems nice.

@SherryRueter - congrats on cutting down sugar. I’ve done that successfully. I rarely even desire sweets. When I do take a bite of something, it’s just too much. I can easily walk past chocolates, fresh baked bread, on the other hand, that is another story!

@SparkSpringtime69 lol, common thing to read. It’s why I capitalize the letters, to help with clarity, Love PB and J. Really, it’s a play in words. The letters represent my family. Each of our initials are P, B, and J. I had a fine day with eating yesterday, but friends can’t over last night and there was wine. I’d sure…

@GigiShy I’ve joined a couple other groups, but just learning how to navigate this new MFP format. I doubt seen to get any kind of alert when my name is mentioned. I guess I need to spend some time and figure this out. Years ago when I last used MFP it was all about friending people and everyone was there on your News…

Thanks drkatiebug and ginnytez. The old version relied on friending people and the Community section of the app was vicious. It seems to have been directed in the opposite way. Good to know. It seems harder to find conversations, though. Off to a slow start, though. My food intake was fine yesterday, but friends came over…

Is there a trick to adding friends? I can’t seem to find where to do that. Is it the “invite” feature?
-
Trying to add some of you gals as friends. There first two profiles I went to were private. I’m looking for new active and fabulous friends. Just getting started again after a long hiatus.
-
How is everyone doing? Today is going well. I got back on this site because not tracking hasn’t been very effective.
-
Day 1, so far so good. 😎
-
Hi all! Just getting started after years away. I’m active, over 50, with about 30 pounds to lose. Yuck.
-
Hi! Got back on MFP again after years of a break. I live in Sausalito and trying to get back at it.
-
Me too, +/- 30 lbs. My health is good. I just fell off the exercise and healthy eating wagon. I’ve tried to add some of you as friends, but MFP has changed so much since I last used it. I don’t know how to add people anymore! Add me. 😃

Not trying to stay at such a high range, just trying to understand why this is more of a normal for me. I have read the books and Dug around the Internet to understand as much as I can. I use the Precision Xtra meter and feel that it is measuring accurately enough. If I have a major indulgence it will report levels in…

Day one of Stage 3 workout A. Does the Body Weight Matrix get easier over time? My hammies are killing me!

a hot dog, stuffed in a pickle, covered with corn dog batter deep fried, on a stick. Hello Houston Rodeo!

I don't understand the benefit of a cheat day; of course there is the meal or treat in itself, but I thought the biggest benefit to a ketogenic diet was achieving that fully fat-adapted state which takes at least three weeks to reach. In the interim, your body is not performing at its ultimate best. It makes the treat or…

Love the idea and may join you! Sad to say, I may NEED that Sunday resurrection celebration. ;) As a Catholic, I was also taught that Lent was not necessarily just for "giving something up" but for making a sacrifice. An example of this could be "during Lent I will read to the elderly." When my daughter was little she…

Congratulations on your success! The only contribution I have to make here is that when I have browsed the success story photos one thing becomes clear: losing weight by dieting and/pr cardio alone tends to give one a smaller version of the same body. The success stories that I have seen here wherein people have truly…

I have no symptoms with my readings, mornings are typically my best time. In fact, I have gone on five mile runs with a 50 blood sugar reading. All of this is so new to me, that once I realized a 50 could indicate hypoglycemia, I immediately went to a diabetic specialist. She said that on occasion, to test equipment, she…

Yes, I have read that book, but it does not tell me what it means to regularly produce high ketone readings in regards to carbohydrate consumption. I do not have an overall understanding of how to interpret my results, which is why I posed the question here "What I don't understand is what does this mean to me? Does it…
