You've done an amazing job! You look like a completely different person. It's amazing what extra weight and getting rid of it does to us.

I so needed this today. I've been really considering this 1200 calorie thing and eating more than that because most days I do typically go over by eating 1400-1500 calories. I'm 5'1" too and sometimes wonder if I'm getting enough food because I typically don't feel full after breakfast like I usually do. My question for…

Finally, a thread for us little short ladies! Age: 27 Height: 5'1" SW: 165 CW: 159 GW: 110 (I think, I don't know. We'll see how I look.) Trying to get the rest of my hotness back!

Asolutely amazing! You've come a long way and with an illness I hope you'll inspire others to take control of their health like you've done.
-
You look amazing and should be proud of your accomplishment! It's refreshing to hear people say they didn't diet and stick to "healthy foods." How tall are you? I didn't see it in the posting.

Gainesville here! I have this urge to move to a larger city in Florida just not Jacksonville or Miami.
-
LOL! Same here. We've been doing it and I promise it's one of the most difficult routines ever. Plus that going from a standing position to the floor is hard enough but it makes me dizzy. It's so intense yet I burn less calories doing that versus Zumba.

Saving for later. Gotta give this a try because we always have a few bananas left that end up going bad or into a smoothie.

This is interesting because I was talking about this with someone who is currently on her weight loss journey too. I've always been an hour glass shape (really tiny waist). Since gaining weight though I appear to be an apple shape now sometimes. I've lost a few pounds and I workout and my waist is still clearly small…

Marking for later.

Congrats! You both have done an amazing job!
-
Absolutely fantastic!

I'm adding ya! I'm new but pretty active. Plus we have similar stats. I'm 5'1" and 157 lbs.

Marking for later.

Great job! Its amazing to see how different those outfits look.
-
Congrats! That's an amazing accomplishment. You look great!

That's a great question. I can't wait to see the answers. I use both depending on what routine I'm doing for whatever day.

I'm assuming that you're not going to the class but you're doing the DVD routine. I say put aside the DVD and go to a class. I'm sure there will be a major difference when you're moving across the floor keeping up with the instructor. My instructor is the greatest and changes it up on us so it's always a challenge and new.

Maybe a few months after once I reach my goal weight. However, I'd like to not be dependant on using it forever to maintain a healthy weight.

I was just saying something similar last last week. I was stuck at 160 for about a month or more. Couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Started reading online and such and decided that in addition to cardio I would start weight training. So, I'm using the Jamie Eason's 12 week LiveFit Regime. I complete the workouts…

Like the above poster mentioned their grilled chicken is pretty good. As long as you aren't eating an entire bucket you shouldn't have any issues with going over you calories.
-
I know this isn't funny but I laughed out loud at the title. On topic: I would inform management. If someone is paying her to be there then she should perform accordingly. If they don't deal with it I would find another class.

Wow! You've done a fantasitc job. Now on to the questions to inspire others. What major changes did you make? Did you change your diet/food? What do you typically eat in a day, specific foods and portions? Do you exercise, how often? When you felt your weight loss become stagnant what did you do to change that?
-
May need to check this out later.
-
What a transformation! You've made a huge physical change. You look amazing! So, for all those wondering how you did it... What's the biggest change you made in your life? What's your workout routine, if any? What kept you going when the scale wasn't moving or you felt stagnant?
-
Same here... Feel free to add me too!

I do Zumba 1 to 3 times a week and the amount of calories I burn vary. I've burned between 500-800 calories. If we go over an hour I can just peak above 1000. I wear a heart rate monitor chest strap that goes along with a watch. I programmed by stats into the watch and took it from there.

Nivea is the only skin firming lotion I've ever used that has actually worked. Within a few weeks my skin "appeared" visibly firmer even though it really wasn't due to exercise or anything. I couldn't believe it. You have to follow the directions though.
-
Feel free to add me. I'm going to have to put pictures up eventually.

I'm 5'1" and currently at 160 lbs. I started at 165. I'm still hazy on my goal weight because I have rather large breasts. My immediate goal is to get in the 150s lbs. with in a few months.
