Honestly, since it’s for a weigh in I don’t care if it’s fat or water at this point. I just need the scale to be at 165. I will have a few months until my next weigh in so I could def lose the fat by then.

I am joining the Air Force and have to be down to 165 to make it thru MEPS weight standards. I will be going in 2 or 3 weeks. I am in my final crunch time. Thank you for your help.

Joining the Air Force, I have 10lbs to lose before going MEPS. I swear it is taking the longest!

Portion sizes were much smaller GMO food didn’t exist back then either

Thank you I am going to give these suggestions a try

Maybe you had a whoosh. Where your cells released water they have been holding onto. The change of eating possibly could have triggered it.
-
So why can’t you buy your own food? I know your living with your in-laws but what is stopping YOU from going to the store? Does you MIL make your breakfast and lunch for you too?

I wear head phones but I also walk/run with my dog. If something odd happens he would react before I would have a chance to. He is also my guard dog so I feel safe goi f out with him and headphones in. We typically go out during the later evening when not to many people are out.

What about going to the butcher shop and picking up some meats? Like bacon or anything that is a little fatty. Also eggs, hummus, olive oil, shoot even a fruit smoothie with organic coconut oil will totally increase your caloric intake.

Oh yeah, I was complaining about it the other day because I have gained some without realizing it. I told him for acountability. I need to be embarrassed for me to do something about it. He is always supportive but now he knows how I feel about me weighing as much as I do and he is supporting me so much. We have been…

1 lb a week is good. If you continue by this time next year you will be 52lbs less!

Awesome!

I'm in for 42 miles this month. Hoping to complete 500 this year.

Do they? I have no idea, I just do it the night before. It's so much easier to grab and go then to do it in the morn.

Also if you are still starving at 1300 cal then either up your calories or exercise a little more so you can eat some back.
-
In reality you don't know what weight you started at and you are guesstimating how much you are eating. In the next few weeks weigh all foods, drink lots of water and now you have a starting weight so consider this a new start. Chances are things are shifting however since you don't know where you started how do you know…

I typically don't count chores. For work I am I my feet for 8-12 hours and I also don't count that as 'walking' I just count exercise that is out of the normal day to day life, and that I intend to do. Maybe take the kids on a walk, have them play outside while you do squats, stretches, lift some dumbells, check out some…

I think you should join the PCOS group. Women with PCOS sometimes find it difficult to lose weight. Also with PCOS some women find it easier to lose weight in a low carb diet. I have PCOS and I lose when I keep my carbs under 50grams and take metformin 2000mg to be exact. If I don't do those two things at the same time it…

Just for today I will drink 75oz of water, work out my arms, and stay within my alloted calories.

Are you unhappy at school? Could it be emotional eating? It sounds like being at your school is making you want to eat more. Is there no grocery stores close by that you can't get to? I'm sorry but it just seems like there is an emotional thing going on rather that the cafeteria not having low cal options. Maybe exercise…

I take it for my high triglycerides (600+). The reason it helps people who are insulin resistant is because it helps our bodies actually use the insulin rather than forcing it to produce more. This might seem to others that is is a weight loss medication because now the person is losing weight when before they didn't. BUT…

OP watch the documentary GMO OMG on Netflix. It's a really good one and it explains a LOT about Gmos.

Water with lemon and chia, coffee. For a milk substitute I have found that almond milk is pretty good. It also has a fraction of the calories that my does.

The in and out burger is actually pretty low cal. I eat it for lunch sometimes and it's filling and keeps me in my range. Now the fries are another thing...

Just start lifting. You look lean, just build muscle.

I only read the first couple of pages but I don't understand why people are questioning the OP's reasons for doing the surgery. If it's the best that the OP and her Dr decided in then why not support her decision. Just because one person wouldn't do it doesn't mean it's a good fit for another person. OP if this is…

OP I was reading thru here, I hope you are able to make the changes that help your health. I have learned on this forum that some people just aren't supportive of others efforts and impose their way that worked with them as the only way possible for success. I'm sure changing your diet will help with your weight loss as…
