Struggling to eat

Hey guys I've been on a diet for almost two months. Weighed in at 178 today, started at 189 at beginning of this cut. I never had a problem with eating but lately I've been getting full fast and not wanting to eat. This past week I've only ate about 1200 calories daily bc simply I do not have energy or craving to eat more. I just came back from a workout and don't even feel hungry. It's 730pm and I only have had 500 calories and my body feels like it doesn't need anymore food.

Eat foods that are higher is calories.
You're really not doing your body any favors by undereating so much.0 -

You may be eating more calories than you think.

Don't think so. I weigh all my food and I meal prep0

Hunger is also not an indication of adequate calorie intake. So just because you're not hungry, doesn't mean your body doesn't need more calories.

Are you stressed? Depressed? Those things have a major impact on appetite.0

No I just finished my finals and I passed with flying colors and my bday is coming up soon. I tried forcing myself to eat more but I almost puked. I don't know why I can't eat more all of sudden0

Your doing a cut? Like for body building?
Isn't eating that little just going to wreck your gains. Strip muscles etc.
Tried drinking your calories? Powders in milk?
Eating the most calorie dense options like full cream milk etc

Go see a doctor. Don't ask randoms on the internet for advice about crap like this.0 -

So did you meal prep an appropriate number of calories, fail to finish that food, and then weigh the remainder to subtract, to get a good idea of how much of it you DID eat? Or meal prep enough food but skip one or more of those meals/snacks entirely?
Or did you meal prep 500 cals or 1200 cals of food only? (And if so... why?)
How did you only eat 500 today if you meal prep? Did you skip prep? Did you prep two 250 cal meals and you're thinking of skipping dinner? Or?
What do you eat? There are some easy ways to add calories that won't feel like more food (like cooking veggies or meat in oil could easily add over 300 cals to your day, and you wouldn't notice that as more volume).0 -

Are you using good entries (I.e., USDA, info from packages, etc.) in mfp?
Assuming you are logging right, I'd suggest trying to use full fat versions of foods that you are eating, rather than low fat or fat free.
Also, are you doing cardio? I've found that steady state cardio suppresses my appetite. I'm wondering if that could be happening with you.

Yeah I've skipped the meals but there has been days this past week where I started to eat my meal and was able to eat like 3/4 of its. I meal prep for 3 days at a time and keep my food in the freezer0

Eat higher calorie foods0

Here are foods with lots of calories -- you do not have to eat much of them.

Yeah. If you've been prepping regular, healthy portions -- i.e. planning to eat normally and healthily -- and then finding you physically can't eat them and don't know why, a doctor visit would be a good idea. It's not normal for appetite to vanish that drastically absent psychological issues (which also would potentially warrant a doctor visit, just likely to a different doctor).0
