Hi and welcome. I have yo-yo dieted my whole life. I believe my weight loss this time has stayed off because, like you said, I made it a lifestyle change. Making small changes and adding a new one each week make it more doable for me. I still have some more to go myself. I know you can do this. Take it one day at a time.

Hi and welcome! I’m so sorry to hear about your son. I hope he is ok now. The way I approached MFP is I treat it kind of like a game- how much can I eat with my allotted calories I have each day. I take foods I like and try to find a healthier, lower calorie way to make it. I’ve also tried to make lifestyle changes with…

That's definitely me. I've lost 30 lbs and just quit. I didn't put it back on but I still have another 40-50 to lose. Just started back with tracking my food and going to the gym 3-4 times a week. I know this works, it's just hard to stay motivated sometimes. I'll send you a friend request

Welcome! I've done WW in the past and lost 50 lbs. Then over 10 yrs put it back on plus more. I have lost 30lbs using MFP. I think they are very similar in that it's making yourself aware of what and how much you eat. And just like they teach us on WW, write it down! It really makes a difference. Congrats on your weight loss so far! I also look at losing 5 pounds at a time otherwise it's just too overwhelming to think about losing so much weight. I'm always looking for more MFP friends to hold me accountable and I'll do that for you, too. I'll send friend request.

Welcome! My best tip would be to plan ahead. I plan out how I'm going to eat my next day's calories (meals & snacks) the night before. I usually overeat if I wait until I'm hungry to figure it out because I will grab the first thing I see.
