  • I ordered Insanity TODAY! When I told my co-workers I ordered it they said I must be insane to want to do that! lol. I have recently lost 65 pounds and need to tone it up now. Hoping this will do the trick! Keep me in your prayers! ;-)
  • I just ordered it TODAY! Would love some motivational buddies! I am scared lol
  • You ROCK! I love these NSV that we all have. My first NSV was when I could do more than 15 minutes on the Elliptical trainer at the gym without feeling like I was having a heart attack! Keep on doing what you are doing. It's the victories over our past bad habits that keep us going.
  • I never get up to 1200 calories. I go to the Metabolic Research Center. (I have since March). I follow their diet plan and I eat until I am full. I MIGHT, on a GOOD day, get 700 calories. I exercise on my nights off work and never eat back my exercise calories. This is MY plan that I follow from MRC. I have lost almost 60…
  • Actually I love the Walden Farms products. I have their Ranch, Bacon ranch and thousand island dressing...love those! I dip strawberries in the chocolate dip...yum! I also love the Apricot fruit spread and apple butter. I have them every morning on toasted pita bread! I like the peanut spread with chocolate on the toasted…
  • You are welcome to add me too! I love to motivate and could use a little for myself every now and again! I am so very sorry that you do not have a support system in your friends and family. You will find a great support system here at MFP! Glad to have you on this journey with us!
  • I go to the Metabolic Research Center. I started there back in March and I am 59 pounds down. 26 more to go. I also get a year of maintenance so they will teach me how to eat and keep the weight off! I have nothing but great things to day about MRC!
  • I eat below my calorie goal every single day. I only get between 500-700 calories a day...on a good day! So, if you just look at my food diary alone, I guess some of you wouldn't decide to be my friend and support me because of my low caloric intake. What you might overlook in my food journal, which I keep open for anyone…
  • Holy crap! Mine too!! WHOOT TO US!!!!
  • Add request sent!
  • I am a night-shifter as well (7p-7a). I start tracking my day from when I wake up. I found it is easiest for me to pre-log my food and edit when I need to. When I get home at 8ish, I cook my breakfast that I pre-logged the day before. My dinner is around midnight, so I log that under dinner. I sleep smooth through lunch,…
  • I love bread. I am on a majorly carb restricted diet, so I buy Joseph's pita bread. only 7 carbs and 50 calories. I pop it in the toaster with some Walden Farm's apricot fruit spread and I am good to go !
  • I would say too many carbs. Your protein needs to REALLY outweigh your carbs.
  • 1.) My stethoscope 2.) Suture removal kit 3.) Water bottle 4.) Phone 5.) Lab ticket
  • We ALL have our moments. I dare you to find a dieter out there that hasn't given in to temptation AT LEAST once on this journey. It is one of the hardest things I have ever done. But, like an earlier post stated. You owned up to it. Get past it, realize that you are only human and start fresh!
  • I have found that I am more outgoing, I have more self-confidence and like to get "dressed-up" more often now! I am happy to say goodbye to the "old me". The old me would have never went out in shorts and just melt in the 119 degree Louisiana heat. The other day, I actually wore a mini-skirt and tank top! I am loving the…
  • I am going to treat myself to a tummy tuck! Since having an emergency c-section 10 years ago...my tummy will never be flat until I get a tummy tuck. That is what I am looking most forward to....then I will NEVER wear pants that aren't hip huggers and shirts that cover my belly!
  • I have been going to the Metabolic Research Center since March. I have lost 59 pounds so far and as of last week, 44 3/4 inches! On the Metabolic plan that I am on, I only take in between 500-750 calories a day. So yeah, I am losing both pounds and inches. I know that the caloric intake is very low...but that is what I eat…
  • Right now, since I am on the Meta-Slim plan with Metabolic Research Center, I pretty much eat the same thing every day. I precook my dinner and make my salad in the mornings and stick it in the fridge. I work nights, so I can get that little hour extra sleep if I don't wait till 5pm to cook!
  • I am a slave to the scale. I judge my success by the numbers on the scale! I think you should view today as a success. You knew your limits, made healthier choices and stopped when you were full. That is a major change from what you described in the past! I don't think you will find one person that has been on a diet that…
  • Mine is "cryin like a *****" : Godsmack!
  • Here for any support u need my friend!
  • My husband and mom knew what I weighed when I started this journey back in March. Too embarased to tell anyone else. Now, when people say "wow, how much weight have you lost?l I proudly proclaim "59 pounds so far!. I was 220 now I am 161 and still dropping!"
  • Hi there Kate! I am Connie. I am a southern girl from Louisiana. I have lost 55 pounds since March and have 30 more to go! Always here to give support and motivation!
  • I would just tell her that she is not properly taking care of your daughter when she has her so she can't take her anymore! I assume that a "nappy" is a diaper. I would tell your mother-in-law that SHE needs to pay for the medication for the bleeding rash on her bottom. Your husband needs to put his foot down with his…
  • WOW...all I can say is WOW! You don't even look like the same person at all! Talk about a transformation! IMPRESSIVE!
  • I have been stuck in the mid 160's for the past 3 weeks. I just want to see the scale in the 150's this week!
  • I crochet. It keeps me busy and I have to count my stitches so I am not worrying about food! It makes my family happy too because they are getting blankets, scarfs, hats...all sorts of neat little homemade things!
  • I am, for a fact through geneology records, related to the most bad-*kitten* pirate of all time...The Pirate Jean Laffite!!!
