Hi! Feel free to add me too :)

28 year old here too :) Feel free to add me. I've got a massive amount still to go and I log every day.

I gained about 10kgs after moving in with my husband (then-boyfriend). That was 3 years ago and that's on top of the extra weight I'm already carrying. Have to lose it now before I start gaining more from being too complacent.

This makes sense
-
Everything in moderation and don't expect the weight to just drop off over night.
-
Feel free to add me :) Mine's always open to friends

ISO sensation 93 - BEST protein shake EVER! I love the cookies and cream one. Mmm

I've been taking 4,000 units a day as my bloodwork came back as really low. I didn't realise that you need a perscription for Vit D in the US as it's just something you grab from the supplements aisle over here. Interesting.

Avocado, almonds, greek yogurt, aged cheese and salmon! mmmm salmon

I follow a semi paleo diet. I have cut out a lot of carbs from my diet but will eat things like multi-grain bread and potatoes (on occasion). I agree that it is about making better quality food decisions and it's made me cook a lot more! So while I'm not 100% paleo, I still follow it as much as I can and have several paleo…

This is great! I'm about 5'4" and I'm currently 96kg (211lbs) and I'm looking to drop 10 kgs (22lbs) every 10-11 weeks. My long term goal is to fit a size 10 as I'm now hovering between a 16-18 and the last time I was a size 10, I thought I looked pretty hot! So anyone else with similar dimensions/aspirations, feel free to…

Cupcakes.. it was someone's birthday at work :(

I liked eating and I didn't like working out. My favourite past time was munching on something (anything!) and watching TV. I would maybe lost 5-10 kilos and then put them on again with more to spare. Surprisingly, I haven't gained much (maybe 3 kgs?) since getting married but I still haven't lost a significant amount.

It's 4:12pm here too ;) I'm peckish and I've got some chopped up carrots and some aged tasty cheddar cheese. It fills me up til I get home to make dinner :) Don't try to deny yourself food if you're hungry, just have something that is a bit healthier instead of just the lindt chockies. And planning is key!

Have you checked if you're Vit D deficient? I found that that was one of my issues. Also if you are doing low carb, I think it's pretty normal that you feel low for days 3-7. I had flu-like sypmtoms last week and felt horrible but I'm feeling awesome now :) Could be your body adjusting to the change.
-
I could.. It's like a dry curry but I'm not sure if DH and BIL would eat it and I don't really want to be stuck eating the whole dish by myself. Or I could add sweet potato in it instead of regular potato. I really like all the other suggestions as well! Looks like cauliflower will take different forms in this house :D
-
That's a great idea! I'll try that out next week :D my mom-in-law would be impressed.
-
Loving all the suggestions! I haven't experimented with cauliflower very much so this is wonderful!
-
This sounds really good. I'll try doing that.
-
To be fair, she's letting me eat peanut butter after working out so I'm okay with giving up potatoes ;)
-
Thanks! I've been having so many lemon and honey drinks, I should probably start investing in them :p
-
This is annoying

I've got PB2 (cost me almost $15 to get it in Australia) so I'll start using it a bit more. I'll look into making my own granola because I like filling snacks in the morning as it'll keep me from eating too much at lunch. I haven't come across string cheese yet though. Are they anything like cheese sticks? ie, the ones…

That's great! My husband makes a mean butter chicken as well :) We LOVVEE Indian food :D I cook a lot of curries, fried noodles, fried rice and pastas as well. Not very healthy, I know but if you have any recipes, I'd love to to see them :) I'm also a bit of a baking fiend so if you have recipes for cupcakes and cakes, I'd…
