  • My new favourite breakfast is Coco-Nutty Granola, you can find the recipe on the I Quit Sugar website. I use honey rather than Rice Malt Syrup, and I use only half the coconut oil it suggests. I have half a cup of it with half a cup of Greek yogurt. Can be a bit high in calories if you have more than half a cup, but it's a…
  • Honestly, don't worry about looking good in your dress - you will! They are designed to make us look insanely amazing! My trouble spots are my arms, so I spent a lot of time playing with the straps to get the most flattering look, and my lower tummy area, which I was really worried would stick out and look all round in my…
  • And if anyone else wants to try them, I have a new code, ijust go to https://www.graze.com/uk/p/ND5JCWJMU H x
  • Brilliant! Enjoy your Graze box then, katied!
  • Yeah they are great in my opinion! And I think pretty reasonably priced (works out at 97p a box) baring in mind to buy each thing in bulk I'd have to buy loads, I wouldn't get the variety and things would probably go off by the time I got round to using up a bigger bag of them all. I sometimes cross off the seeds/plain…
  • just realised I can also donate my £1 if anyone signs up - so I'll do that!
  • Hi! I used to use the runtastic one, which was fine, but it had too many functions on it for me! It has GPS, HRM, etc etc and it works well, and I was using the runtastic app at the time too, but I found I didnt need all that stuff on there, my technophobic brain couldnt cope. So I now have the Garmin Forerunner 10, which…
  • Thanks guys - they sound delicious. Off to grab some stuff from the market now so I can have a couple for my breakfast for the next few days!
  • LOADS OF TIME!! Do it! Also - so what if you walk some of it. Youre doing more than everyone who is sitting at home!
  • WELL DONE!!! I was a newbie runner at the beginning of the year and its SUCH a proud moment when you realise you can actually do it!!! Im addicted to the feeling of running a teeny bit further every week now! Yep - never do less than 3k again (until youre on your tapering week for your first race...!) I also love running…
  • I can kind of relate to this! I have been increasing my running for a while and although I didn't put any on I stopped losing weight, while all the time eating at a deficit (I'm sure I was, not just thinking I was). This was pretty depressing after a few weeks, so I took my measurements and had lose a good couple of inches…
  • Good luck with your wedding weight loss and congratulations on getting married! Im getting married in just over 3 weeks and am way off my target weight - but my shape has changed loads and I have had to have my dress taken in twice. So try not to get too worried about the numbers on the scale as long as your looking and…
  • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ac40RipWqg I have trained personally with this guy, he's brilliant. He's got a fantastic reputation, if you happen to live in the UK, near High Wycombe I can highly recommend him! He also did a kettle bell challenge for charity, raising money for our local hospital. He did 1000 snatches in…
  • Mines open! Add me! I have been really slack at adding anything to it recently so could do with the motivation of knowing more people might look at it too! Han x
  • Good luck - I would like to do something like Tough Mudder some day, but am doing the Great South Run at the end of October so concentrating on that. Let us know how you get on though!!!
  • Ive been running for a few months, and like you had a bit of fitness from the gym etc. But running outdoors is tough! Start by doing a run/walk routine, a really good app to keep you going is couch 2 5k (although I never used it, because I went to a running club that did the same thing!) In a few weeks you'll be doing a…
  • I am a 36G and a runner! The best bra for me by a mile is the Shock Absorber D+ Max sports bra. Slight uniboob but keeps these bad boys where they should be!!
  • I probably can't help with much because Im quite new to the running game! But if you just want to chat about running - a bit of virtual running with friends - let me know! I have been running for a couple of months now - I am just about up to 5k now... at a push! But I have agreed to do the Great South Run in October, so I…
  • Anyone else?! I really need as much help as humanly possible!! :-)
  • This is the sort of thing that happens to me - as soon as I eat breakfast I "gain" 1-2lbs, even if II just eat yogurt and banana and a glass of water! Clearly hadn't gained that - the food wouldn't even been digested yet! To be consistent I have to weigh myself first thing in the morning and immediately after I go to the…
  • Thanks Neil I'll try and concentrate on the distance. I just did my 2 mile route with only around a minute or two walk time, so plan next week I'll add another half mile in and see how I go! Thanks for your advice!
  • Well done! Hard work pays off! Congratulations! You look brilliant!
  • I get married 15 weeks today! Want to lose around 1 and a half stone by then! If not a bit more if possible...! Good luck with your wedding plans! Hope youre enjoying it all!
  • yes please! I really need the support and motivation!!
  • Hi! I'm getting married exactly 4 months today! I want to lose another 20-28lbs by then... I hope its doable! I have hit a plateau where I am just not losing anything at all recently, and feeling very fat and frumpy at the moment, so cold do with the motivation! Good luck with your plans and your weight loss! Hannah
  • Thanks guys, I'll give both of these ideas a try this week!
  • You will lose weight and get fitter whatever you do! You are doing really well going to the gym and exercising more. My advice (based purely on my own experience) would be to go into it slowly and build up your stamina and fitness, I think sometimes we go too hard to start with then it puts us off! So you could start doing…
  • I'm pretty sure my calorie allowance is the same if I put light or sedentary...?! I might be wrong but put yourself as one then as the other to compare calorie allowances. Good luck!!!
  • Hi all! I realise this thread is about 6 months so, so I guess this may be old news to some of you, but hopefully it'll be useful for a few people too! I use the life fitness treadmill at my gym, some are set to 30 min max and some 60 min. However, on the time limit screen, they also have 'marathon mode'. This mode…
  • 3 miles down! (actually its a bit more, but I only just saw this thread, so I havent been measuring otherwise!)
