I am cautiously optimistic. Sounds like a downer. I've been down this road before. Gotten seriously excited then, let myself down. Week one I am 4.6 lbs down. That is just a teaser. Week one is easiest. We know what those lbs really are. However I am keeping my resolve high and checking in with you guys daily. :)

I restarted September 1st. A few friends and I challenged each other to do Real squats every day. Not the Diddley kind! We're not counting how many. We're going by exertion. I'm also walking and stretching :)

I put my exercise in but change the calorie burn to 2. No matter what I did or for how long. That way my time and the 'what' it was is there for me to look back at but it doesn't add to my daily calorie 'allotment' Keeps me from thinking I have room to eat more. .... me too. I've tried it by the directions. then with less water. it just sogs through toast. Eeww to putting it in oatmeal or shakes. Might just mix it with suet and seeds and put it in the bird-feeder!

Something that works for me. Every morning I tell myself : I just need to do this for one day. I can do anything for one day. It's only 24 hours. One day One day One day. If you have enough one days in a row, pretty soon you hit Won Day! It makes a difference for me. Good luck on your journey.

Your body uses all liquids to hydrate you. Lots of controversy here. Some Dr.s and trainers say Only straight water counts. That makes no sense to me. It goes in as liquid. It gets flushed out as liquid. If not what does your body do with it? Many people drink no plain water at all.
