  • Me too! I give heavier or beginner runner's WAY more credit that seasoned runners. I know what it is like to start out. You are awesome for staring to run. People are looking at you because they are jealous! Keep it up and do it for you.
  • The average for a standard american diet is probably pretty high. I would guess over 100g easily. I try and stay under 15 g everyday. My highest days are probably 40g of sugar and that is very rare. You'd be surprised how much sugar is in everything. If you are interested in lowering your sugar intake you might be…
  • That video is hard!!! I have it and I don't follow a set schedule. I add it in when I am feeling like a less impact workout (but not easy because it certainly isn't easy!!). Somedays I just do the warm up and cool down to get a good stretch in. Do you do any other actives? I would suggest doing the video a few times a week…
  • I don't use the "net calories" on here. For me, the purpose of working out is to supplement my weight lose....not some scheme so I can "buy back" calories. I am fairly active (I run, bike, hike, lift weights, spin class) and I aim to eat about 1600-1700 calories per day - regardless of how much (or little) I work out. It…
  • You look great! Congratulations!! Great job
  • I think every little bit helps. I wouldn't suggest you to stop this habit. On the flip side, I don't think this level or amount of strength training will make noticable improvements. I would compare it to parking further away at the grocery store or taking the stairs...every little helps and eventually they all add up.…
  • I tried their apple butter, chocolate sauce, salad dressing and strawberry fruit spread (it was on sale at Sprout's Farmer's Market). I thought it was all gross. The taste wasn't too bad but the consistency was just...."off." It was goopy and very fake. My personal opinion is the a healthy version of real stuff is more…
  • When I ran my 10k I still lifted weight and also incorporated yoga for my "off days" or maybe the day after my long run. I don't think it replaces weight but is a great compliment to your workouts.
  • Hey there! I am 28F in Avondale, AZ looking to lose about the same amount. Good luck!!! The heat makes is frustrating because I think it is too hot to run after work and I crave ice cream instead!
  • Sometimes it is easier to skip a day....but if you really want you can always guesstimate your calories after the fact and then use that "add quick calories" button and just put a lump sum in for the day. It will be a guess, but it might be better than leaving it blank.
