So yeah, what you said!

I'd try putting them in a sieve giving them a rinse in some cold water and then putting them back in the jar with some oil.

I weigh 126lbs having started off at 145lbs - I'm 5'6" I do 5:2 intermittent fasting, so 500 cals twice a week, the rest of the time it could be anywhere between 1200 and 1900! Usually somewhere between 1240 and 1500. I work out round about 3 times a week for about 50 mins at a time. This has been working well for me,…

Great work, can really see the difference round your midsection. Keep it up!

36 and refusing to believe it!

@mommy1126 - 31?

Mine's from November.

I'm 36, and started here at 145lbs. Current weight is 130lbs looking to get down to 124lbs - so not too much to lose. I'm 5'6". Don't mind how old friends on here are. I've got two small boys and I'm in the UK. My calories are set at 1240 a day, but I do intermittent fasting so twice a week they'll be 500 (I don't have an…

It's great in terms of calcium for your bones, so good for small growing children. It's not essential for a twenty year old to eat loads of it (sadly). Cheddar and similar hard cheeses are delicious but full of calories. So try and stick to a small amount. Cottage cheese is a traditional 'dieters food' but pretty watery…

Same here. I'm hoping it's not going to be much more than a pound though.

I actually did a blog post on those 'celebrity lookalike generators' as I got such TERRIBLE results. I was basically told I looked like a balding 70 year old man - more than once! I can laugh about it though http://faithhopeandcharityshopping.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/ta-dah-tuesday-in-which-i-discover-my.html

I see that, definitely!

Thanks I am a bit happier now! ;-)

I have been told Maggie Gyllenhaal a few times...dunno if I'm happy about that having seen the South park episode where she and Jake are arguing over who's the most repellent!
-
I'm currently 129lbs (5'6") and I'm finding my size 12s too big and size 10s a little snug (but can get them done up again). That's UK sizes though, so probably around an 8 in US sizes. If they made size 11 here, that would be perfect!

You are stunning. Amazing job and how wonderful that your health is so improved.

Mum who wants to make loads of good memories with the family.

I like caffeine free diet coke, but I only have about two cans a week now. I'm trying really hard to drink more water and less fizz/squash

Down a pound to 130lbs - nice round number!
-
I've had a bit for ages but I think it's looking better as I lose a few pounds. However this could be down to drinking more water and generally feeling better about myself. And the fact that it's now dark earlier! ;-)

I'm Welsh but live in London. Am 36

When I felt like this I finally figured out it was caffeine jitters - though I drank more than two cups a day. I drink decaf now and really notice when I have just one caffeinated drink, though now I know what it is it doesn't bother me so much!

I don't think I could do this every day - too boring and restrictive. However, what I have found easy to stick to is 5:2 diet / intermittent fasting - have been doing it for 3 months now, am losing steadily and don't feel deprived. I stick to 500 calories on Monday and Thursday (dinner, plus a few coffees throughout the…

Hiya - also new to the gym and working it out as I go along. I'm doing intermittent fasting and as far as I know am not supposed to eat back calories on fast days, but I will definitely be pleased for the extra on regular days!
-
Wow, 99lb loss is amazing - well done! Have a happy weekend with your new smaller butt!
-
Thanks - not sure canoeing is going to happen any time soon in South London but filed away for future reference! When I was riding as a teen that was great for arm and thigh strength, partially from controlling my strong stocky stubborn pony and partly to do with all the buckets of water and bales of hay I was always…

Thank you, I will look these up. All new to me.

Yes, me too - would love that slender armed look! Actually my Mum also complains about her arms so I shall blame her. I have to say that in your profile pic your arms look great so that is very encouraging if you feel things have got better recently. I could live with width if I lost the jiggle (I know exactly what you…

Hi, I'm new here, like you I know I'm not 'fat' in the traditional sense of the word but I would like to get back to my pre-children weight and be more toned. I'm 5'6" and when I started logging my weight and doing intermittent fasting I was 145, I'm now 133 and would like to be 126. I have a fairly small frame and was…
