I've lost almost 90 pounds and I see no difference, only in my face and boobs :( lol

I roast them. I set the oven to 400 and while it's pre-heating I cut the hard ends off the asparagus, toss it in a bit of olive oil and garlic powder and put them into the oven until they are the tenderness I like :).

I love her website, so many recipes saved from it that I still need to try :)

I never really stuck to any weight loss until I joined this site. Tracking my calories and all the support keeps me motivated :) Best of luck with everything!

I do it once a week, right after I wake up.

Self control and willpower. I know everybody says that.. but that's because it's true!

I work out in the morning 20-30 minutes then do the same thing at night. It keeps me from doing 40-60 minutes of straight workouts, and it's easier for me to fit it in that way.

I found some at Target.

Willpower.

Don't do the same 50 crunches and weights every single day! Your muscles need rest. You should pick up a strength routine. The Women's Health Big Book of Exercise got me into weights, and it has very good information, I suggest checking it out.

I'm on birth control right now and I've had no problems losing weight and I sure haven't gained weight.

Yes that's a bit too fast...

My dog will try to play with me while I'm working out, so It's hard to keep focus haha. Especially when I'm on my stationary bike he tries to bite the pedals or lick the belt on my treadmill.

My friend (who doesn't have ADD or ADHD) took adderall specifically for weight loss because she knew it shut her hunger off. I told her she was stupid for doing that, but I can't physically stop her lol. I don't condone it.

Oh, and how tall are you, and just how long did it take you to lose all the weight?

Such an inspiration!!

Problem is literally ALL my money goes towards food haha. So when I get money every penny goes towards food, even if it's 5 bucks I find. I maybe spend 10 bucks every 2 months on other things like shampoo/toothpaste/personal things.

A few months ago I picked up The Eat Clean Diet Recharged and I subscribe to Oxygen Magazine (and a few other fitness ones) and I've been looking up clean eating till my eyes wouldn't take it any longer. I'm almost 7 weeks in and I'm trying to eat as clean as possible. I buy what I can afford at the grocery store (which is…

I agree!

I've had a few family members get them. They are painfull to recover from, but isn't all major surgery? If it makes you feel better about yourself don't let anybody talk you out of it. Of course they're are always going to be risks with everything you do. They've told me many times over that the recovery was more than…

Weigh yourself once a week, it'll keep you sane!

I have way over 100 pounds to lose, and I've lost 20 so far. To other people that would be a lot. But that's not even enough for me to notice a difference.. Maybe once I hit 50 pounds lost other people AND me will be able to see the loss.

I have days like that even up to a whole week were I can't seem to eat over 1000 calories a day. But now the past 2 days I've had the opposite problem, I'm constantly hungry! Bodies are weird sometimes :p
-
It's doable, that's about 2-2.5 pounds a week.
-
Eat more than 1200 calories and exercise! Even if it's a little big of working out... it'll help.
-
I'm no expert.... but 5k 5-6 times a week seems PLENTY enough.. lol

I was diagnosed in September of 2009. I haven't had any bad side effects from it, I didn't even know I had it till I went for a checkup. I was told it would be hard for me to lose weight because of it, but I'm almost 20 pounds down and I don't see it stopping me :)
-
I've only lost 17, but I know what you mean. I don't really workout a lot, I eat everything in moderation (including ice cream and brownies) and I never feel like I'm starving myself.
-
Hmm it's probably not the healthiest or the most realistic goal :/. Maybe 5 pounds by Christmas?

Aerobics, low impact.
