Do you weigh yourself every day or once a week or something different? My body fluctuates +/1 3 pounds so much that I think if I did it every day i'd get discouraged.

Thanks!

I weigh once a day in the morning before breakfast. If you weigh at the same time each day, it should be fairly consistent.
  • I do it once a week, right after I wake up.

I weigh in once a week.
  • I probably weigh myself once a day (which I know I am not supposed to do.) Most experts (including my nutritionist and my psycologist) says that you should only weigh yourself once a week (same time/day each week preferably wearing the same clothes if you can). This will/should give you a fairly accurate reading.

I have eating disorders which I use to obsess about food, exercise and my weight, so the fact that I am only weighing myself once a day is a HUGE deal for me. (There was a time I would weigh myself ... three four five times ... I'm doing better though!)

a couple of times a week usually, but try to set only one to keep track of on here...try to keep it on the same day each week.

I weigh I'm every morning. Just to keep on track, but do what's best for you.

Honestly, I get so excited with losing weight that I want to weigh myself everyday. However, my doctor says to only weigh myself once a week, same day, same time and he recommends in the morning when I first wake up. Hope this helps.
  • only weigh your self once a week. you can go up or down a lb or two due to water weight and hormones and gaining two lbs in one day can discourage you and send you running for that ice cream for comfort. just keep your eyes on your goal. if you have a bad week resolve to have a better week for the next one.
  • I weigh myself first thing each morning, but I only update my weight any time that I loose. I try not to worry too much about my weight from day to day and instead compare from one week to the next though.
