Hi there! I invested in a gel seat (about $20 - I got mine at Target) and that alone made a world of difference for me. Also, get yourself some Chamois Butt'r (http://chamoisbuttr.com/) - put it on before you ride. It'll help sooth that burn you feel. ;)

Do you think the sites estimates in general are accurate? On Friday I went for a 3.5 hour (22.9 miles) bike ride. The tracking app I use said I burned 1,230 calories. I'm indifferent about my last name, but for some reason people always botch the pronunciation - it starts off 'Able' and people always reverse the B and L, pronouncing it 'Albe'. Very few people get it right on the first go. I view this as a sad reflection on our education system.
