  • I use canned chicken and Flatout wraps to make all kinds of quesadilla-type meals. Spray one side of the Flatout with cooking spray, put that side down on a pan, lay toppings on half. Fold the other half over the top and cook until the "guts" get warm & melty. Flip it to grill the other side just a bit. I've done many…
  • Absolutely! Walking has been my most consistent form of exercise...lost 50 pounds in 10 months, have kept it off for over a year (actually logged my 730th day on MFP today....two straight years!). I committed to walking 30 minutes, 4 times/week. Some days I had trouble getting to 30 minutes, but I wouldn't let myself stop…
  • I have always liked ranch dressing, but found that most of the light or fat free versions had an awful taste. I even tried mixing the Hidden Valley dry packet with plain Greek yogurt, but I still didn't care for it. I've found that the Hidden Valley Light Ranch (not fat free) isn't bad, but my favorite is Marzetti's Light…
  • 572 days as of today :) 50 pounds lost, and maintained for almost a full year. Since hitting maintenance, I don't always finish logging every day, but I ALWAYS start each day logging breakfast and lunch. This way I know where I'm at by suppertime. And if I have logged healthy choices for breakfast and lunch, I don't feel…
  • Great! Thank you!
  • Definitely check out thrift stores. I found some good "in between" clothes there for not a lot of money. It takes a little time to look through everything, but one can find some good stuff. I also sold some of my "big" clothes online, especially jeans that I had paid a lot for. It felt good to get a decent price for them,…
  • I just made this soup over the weekend, and it was SO good...and easy. I added a tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese to my bowl, a tablespoon of fat free sour cream, and a couple of crunched-up tortilla chips. Really good, and filling!
  • This is simply awesome! Thanks for sharing!
  • Amazing! Great job!!
  • Wow! That's such an amazing accomplishment! You look fantastic!
  • I'm 38 years old, 5'9", started MFP on August 20th at 210 pounds. I am currently at 170, aiming for a goal of 160. I'm in the home stretch now!
  • All I can say is...WOW! Simply WOW! I've also learned on this journey that exercise doesn't have to consume huge amounts of time. It all adds up. Even just 20 minutes on the treadmill will work!
  • About a month ago, I got out a box of clothes that I had packed away when they became too small (notice it was the clothes that became too small....not that I had grown...heehee!). I've had this pile sitting on my bedroom floor for the past month, as incentive to keep going. On Saturday, I pulled on a pair of jeans from…
  • I'm 5'9" and set my goal at 160. Started this journey at 210, and am just a fraction of a pound away from hitting the "halfway there" mark!
  • Marshfield!
