Like you I had lost my weight about 7 years ago and then slowly put it back on. As soon as I started this journey again, I put a "skinny" picture of myself on my refrig and looking at it reminds me of how awesome I felt then and how much I enjoyed the compliments I received. Whenever I feel discouraged, I look at that…

Just have her read your post. If she doesn't get the hint don't give her a minute of your time worrying about her rude comments. 100 lbs and she thinks you are not small enough? Good God!

I have 1 cup of Dreyers Sugar Free Low fat vanilla icecream floating in AW diet rootbeer. Yummy, not too unhealthy. I allow for the 200 calories in my daily food allowance.

Eat the bread! I eat Dave's Killer Bread. It is absolutely the best. 21 whole grains and seeds. Toasted with PB2 peanut butter is absolutely delish and 200 very nutritious calories.

Cerakoala, you are absolutely amazing. What was the most useful thing you did to lose your weight? Keep a picture of you on the frig to inspire yourself to NEVER gain it back. Kudos girl, you rock:love:

My fav is a Mission extra soft tortilla sm size with 2 oz canned chicken breast, 1 wedge laughing cow cheese ( Queso Fresco Chipolte flavored) 2 tbs peach jam and shredded lettuce rolled inside. Just delicious with a slight kick from the cheese and 255 calories. Hope you try and enjoy. Another fav is 2 slices of Dave's…

I love PB2 and dill pickle on Orowheat Sandwich thins. about 150 calories of yum

Am I understanding this right? You weigh 200 lbs and water weighs 8 lbs per gal. so 100 lbs of water is 12 1/2 gallons. That seems unbelievable unless I am not understanding. I would have to drink every waking moment and live in the bathroom. It is very easy to eat 1200 calories if you are counting everything and you add a…

Looks delish!! any chance it is healthy? Would like the recipe if so. Happy Easter and enjoy your cake. :flowerforyou:

Have you tried Melatonin. I take 5 mg each nite and it works great. If I wake up within 4 hrs of wanting to get up I take 1mg and off to sleep I go for about another 4 hrs. It is a natural thing our bodies make and the production slows as we age. Good luck :flowerforyou:

just saw on their website that they are available at safeway and walmart, at least in my little town.

I am 72 and as long as I do my 45 min brisk walk and log every thing I eat and do not eat back more than 1/2 of my exercise earned calories, I continue to lose about 1 lb per week. I agree that it is not as easy as when I was 40, but then nothing is. Good luck in your journey. this is a great place to start.

MFP has become such an important part of my day that I wouldn't miss logging anymore than I wouldn't brush my teeth. I do get in a rut sometimes and eat the same things too many days in a row. I sit down to watch TV in the evening and log in every single thing I eat and it really helps me keep it real. I do go over my…

Who would you be cheating??? I record gains and losses, but that is my choice. No one else in this world cares what I do.

You are so smart to set small goals instead of huge goals. It will be so wonderful each time you can be proud that you have reached one more small goal. Congrats and keep up the good work. Be sure to read the success stories with pictures, some of them are amazing and will motivate you. again be proud and keep posting…

can someone take a minute and help me understand TDEE/BMR. I haven't a clue and I just use the 1200 calories MFP said to eat. Been at it 8 wks and have lost 9 pounds. Also I could use some suggestions about losing belly fat. I am 72 yrs old, 5'3" and I walk every day and do some light weight lifting. I can see the results…

went to skinnytastes.com and all I saw was "ask for info on this domain" Are they gone?

You are terrific. I admire you for keeping motivated for over a year. It has taken me 2 months to lose 8 lbs and I have 10 more to go, but when I read posts from people like you it is sooo motivating. Congrats and best wishes for your continuing journey. I have so much faith in you to finish your journey. :smooched:

I think you saved my program today. I have logged my food for 45 days straight, walked everyday and have lost only 6 lbs but felt good about that. We went to visit family in another state for the last 3 days and even though I brought my own foods I could not resist the wonderful comfort foods everyone brought to the…

Whatever you do, don't skip dinner with family. I try very hard to stay within my calorie limits. We went out to a favorite restaurant to try their new beef stroganoff. I asked the waitress to bring me a to-go box when she brought my dinner. I spooned half of the stroganoff into the box, spread the rest out on my plate and…

I weigh every morning and post on Wednesdays, loss or gain. Since weight can flucuate so easily if I show a gain I just figure I will lose by next week and sometimes it is by the next morning. Also if you are using weights at all and you replace fat with muscle it will weigh more. Good luck to you :flowerforyou:
