Almost 48 y.o. and lifting margaritas at the beach will be my only exercise today. Happy early weekend, everyone!

Hey, I'm back on after a hiatus - 46 and I'd be happy as a clam to lose 10, at my ideal weight if I lost 15. Worse than that is I got out of a lifelong exercise habit this last year, and that needs to get fixed. Happy to have friends, one and all - add me!

Once he's dead, I'd date ya blu :)

Sure.

Oh no! That sucks, I'm sorry. And the "Nearly" was created in a moment of existential angst. Lame, I know.

80 and sunny in Seattle today, my friend. Perfect day for a bike ride.
-
Far, actually. Farsighted and at my computer too much (geek). Need Lasik :(

Poutine and beer for lunch. Come and get it.

cute bikini!

Hot, but you make me want to...feed you. Like, poutine or doughnuts or something. Jeez.

Google the origin of running shoes. 1970's. Do you think that we ran badly for millenia prior? Many books on the subject (start with Born to Run) and my opinion after running since 1979 is to agree with the research. Substitute "marketing gimmick" for fad, if you like.
-
Essentials? Nothing at all. Don't buy into a lifestyle, it's just running. Run. Not even "running shoes" are essential - they were a fad created in the 70's.

Wear sundresses that show off my arms.

Very deep. More sangria!

Kgeyser, you're awesome. lol. On another note, do you know that you make people start drinking really early when they can't tell if you're a troll or just an idiot? Not nice.
-
115?

Lol, i thought you were talking about me and it was just a blurry pic so I switched it :)
-
Pillow fight? Kidding. Have cocktails.

27" waist yesterday morning - the goal I wrote down more than a year ago.

Great post.

Same here - I'm a size 4 at 133lbs and people start to worry about me if I get down to 125. It's definitely a matter of muscle mass and BMI charts aren't meant for people like us. I was just seeing that for my age range I'm not "supposed" to go below 23% bf...but that's a tad too high for my liking.

Uh...I'm a sci fi reading, WoW playing, webmistress, librarian, computer science teacher. So, well...yeah. You can add me :)

Indisputable logic. I love it. I actually have one glass of wine or a beer most days, and just count it in to my daily allowance. Same as chocolate chips.

Young!

Love mine but you run very differently in them and you need to give yourself time to adjust, definitely. No more heel-toe running!

indeed.
