I have no limit on fruits. I eat huge, but not unlimited, portions of gelato. Works for me.

600 calories is nothing. By the time today is over I will have gone ~1,200 over my calorie goal. That's life, I've learned to live with it. A little less ice cream tomorrow, and maybe an extra lap around the block, and life goes on and all is well.

It is not possible to burn calories at night. Just like it is not possible to gain weight from eating food at night. All you can eat pizza and beer, all night long. Heaven on earth!!!

Not only you can - you should! Long term, the only winning strategy is to eat what satisfies you. Undoubtedly true for some. For others, like myself, it is far, far easier to stay in the deficit when I do at least 30 minutes of cardio a day. Try and see what works for you.

Honestly, none of that matters. I quit smoking, and I am losing weight. Both are hard as hell. Both are easy, if you have right mindset. Calories don't matter, exercise don't matter, how long don't matter. Mindset is all that matters.
