  • I have a heart rate monitor that tracks my caloires burned and i find they are usually off from what the estimates are in the MFP Exercise library. Every person is built different and will burn calories different. If you want accurate numbers i would suggest getting a heart rate monitor! :) good luck.
  • The amount of water you drink should be your 1/2 body weight in ounces of water. Example: 150lb person should be drinking 75 ounces of water a day.. the 8x8 isn't an accurate rule. Good Luck!
  • It shouldn't be just about moving the scale. Muscle weight more than fat so if you're seeing results in inches this is GOOD! :) I wouldn't be too concerned with the value on the scale.   • When you work out your body GAINS MUSCLE which weighs more than fat. don't judge your progress by the scale alone. YOu need to measure yourself (bust, arms, hips, thighs etc) and re-measure on a monthly basis to see if you have any progress. Don't give up!!!!

  • Motivation should come from you wanting to accomplish something. Not necessarily the amount of weight someone else wants to lose. I say this becuase its taken me about 2 years to realize i was trying to find motivation in all the wrong places!! :) Good luck!

  • Dageeus - Net is the Calories consumed MINUS calories burned. If you eat 1000 colories and burn 500 your NET is 500!! :) hope this helps.
