  • Hi! I have a similar situation. My husband (we got married in July 2011) is very supportive, but he just has such different nutritional needs that it's a constant battle on my part to make sure I do the right thing. He's very skinny with a ridiculous metabolism and also a mild case of IBS. Our families also have very…
  • Hi from Tasmania! Feel free to add me. Well done on your great progress so far!
  • Extra strong mints eaten regularly will make it impossible to enjoy almost anything afterwards without a big glass of water first. This might work until you can break the snacking habit. : )
  • This! And, you could easily eliminate the sugar in the Sprite and the Tea. I've found that replacing my several cups of tea a day with herbal tea helps my weight loss. Don't ask me why, cos the calories aren't that high (although several teaspoons of sugar a day does add up), but it works for me! Good luck!
  • I have been eating chocolate daily on my journey. My husband always has something sweet late in the evening and I find I'm more likely to avoid a binge if I have a pre planned treat coming up. I don't feel deprived and it doesn't trigger a massive binge when I do partake. I am actually proud to log just 5-10 squares of…
  • Do Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. It's available free on youtube. 3 levels, ten days on each level, take a rest day or two if you need it, tho you may want to push through if you've only got a month. I would add in a walk or jog too to burn a few extra calories. Good luck, and enjoy the day! I was not at my goal weight for…
  • Wow! Well done you! It's great to get that confirmation that you're doing the right thing, that you're on track and you just have to keep on doing it. Great job. : )
  • Yay! I'm in too! I can't wait for Summer, skinny arms and skinny jeans! Skinny WHITE jeans. Big goal people. Start Weight: 70.2kg Goal Weight: 64kg
  • Hey there. As a fellow clothing retail worker I know just where you're coming from. I'm already on a 3 month push to get in shape, so know that I'm right there with you. Including the shopping spree at the end!
  • I think you're beautiful! You have a really open and friendly looking face and stunning hair.
  • That is terrible. I can't understand how it's ok to speak to anybody like that! Don't take it to heart, people like this are full off venom and vitriol and it has nothing to do with you. Shrug it off and carry yourself tall. We don't have Walmart in Australia. It sounds like a whole other world inside a warehouse.
  • I get Anne Hathaway or Eva Green. It's all about the dark hair and big eyes but I'll take the compliment any way I can get it.
  • I'm scared about loose skin too. I think it's key to exercise and thus improve muscle tone and blood flow etc. I also follow the advice given for post baby bodies; moisturise and massage. Other than that I cross my fingers!
  • Hi and welcome! I've only been here for a fortnight but it's been great. Feel free to add me. : )
  • I just did 3 days then rested for one and felt so much better yesterday on my 4th. My legs were so sore day 2 and 3 (felt good tho!). I stand and walk for 9 hours a day for work so I really needed to let them relax a little for practicalities sake. My 4th workout was great. I found I could keep up with everything!
  • Hi! Look through some of the older forums (google "results insanity" or "before/after insanity" to find the links, as there some great before/after threads on here with encouraging pics - there are also great pics on youtube). I'm a bit too much of a fitness beginner (ie. scaredy cat) to do insanity - although my husband…
  • The only thing ageing your face is those eyebrows. A thin hard brow like that gives your face structure but it's a little hard looking. Let them grow and don't fill them quite so much and you'll find you look softer and younger. Look at Keira Knightley, she has similar face shape/colouring as you, and she's got great…
  • Hi! Brand new to the site and loving it. I'm nervous but totally in on the Shred.
