You can make pancakes using lentil/chickpea/any other bean flour. You can just grind red lentils in a spice/coffee grind to have lots of it for cheap. I'd do half regular flour and half lentil flour. This way you get protein and iron. Also tofu scrambles or chickpea/lentil flour omelettes are great ways to get a nutritious…

I usually cook for a week, since I'm a student so I'm pretty short on time and money. So this means I eat the same lunch for a whole week. Also like you my dinner is usually the same thing, and for breakfast it's usually a choice from 2-3 options. If it's nutritious food and it tastes good, I don't really care if I had it…

Why drink so much milk? You can just drink less. And you can stop altogether and see if it has any positive effect.

Here's a crazy thought: why don't you talk to her about it? Everyone here on this forum are complete strangers, they have never met your friend and know nothing of her character. Talk to her, and try to do this calmly.

I think you can try to take it easy. Find the appropriate substitutes, they would help you ease into it. Try nice vegan places in your city. If you have a good vegan friend, that could really help a lot. Don't beat yourself up if you have something nonvegan by accident/moment of weakness. And really I think, if you want to…

I really appreciate your patience with her - truly it's admirable. It seems she wants to change but has no idea how to do it. Do you think she'd be willing to see a nutritionist and follow a more sustainable plan?

Yes. I usually eat 5-6 smaller meals, all around the same amount of calories (250-350).

You're eating ridiculously low carb. Who advised you to do this?
-
Yeah definitely! And same for my OH.

Somewhere in Germany I saw a marzipan croissant. Sounds delicious, right? It was absolutely inedible.
-
I found it to be pretty accurate.

You need to be eating more food. I'm about your size, and I was losing weight quite quickly on 1200. Try and add more calories.

Wow fantastic! and you look so much younger, too. Good job! :)

I would bring something of my own to share with everyone else. This way everybody wins. :)

I used to love running. I was the best in my class among the girls, and loved long distance runs. Unfortunately when I was in university my knee suddenly twisted in a strange way and later it turned out the bones in my left knee are abnormally located since birth and I'm not allowed to run anymore. I don't know why it all…

Margarine, that's pretty much it. Well, I'm vegan, so there are tons of stuff I don't eat, but not for health reasons.

It looks fine. And I'm sure there are other things on the menu other than sushi anyway so you can get a wakame salad or miso soup or something of the sort. You seem to be really tense about this, try to relax, this is supposed to be fun, not scary. :) Enjoy it.

You wear white pants You wear a hoodie with a local university logo You wear hats inside a building (ok those last two were specifically for USA tourists) You have no idea how to get on the bus You don't understand what to do when going through security, thus holding the line

In the summer it's often twice a day: after work and before bed. Or, before I go dancing and before bed. Winter, just before bed.

I'm vegan, and this book sounds silly. No, a vegetarian diet isn't necessarily healthier. No, skinny and healthy aren't interchangeable. There are many reasons to go vegetarian or vegan, but believing it would necessarily make you thin/healthy isn't one of them. People write all sorts of things, both on the internet and in…

We're a couple, we spend about 80$ a week. We don't buy organic because we can't afford it. Luckily for us, here fruits and vegetables are very cheap and they're about 80% of what we buy every week (we're vegan). I think what helps a lot is we make so many of our food ourselves - bake our own bread, make lots of stuff from…

Sunset because during sunrise I rather still be asleep.

Eat food with lots of fiber and protein, it will keep you full for longer.

No.

Wow! Thanks. Really changes your perspectives... And also shows how you can be smaller but weigh the same when you're losing fat and gaining muscle.

It doesn't really. I think if he's shorter than me it could be a turn off (but not a deal breaker). But my partner is only 5 cms taller than me (2 inches), and I'm fine with that. I should point out I'm 5'4, so there aren't many guys who are shorter than me. :)

I'm vegan (ethical reasons) and I don't see veganism as an inherently healthier diet. There is a wide variety of vegan diets and a wide variety of non-vegan diets, all of them can range from absolutely awful to very good for you. Meat and dairy won't damage you if you don't eat too much of them. I believe you should follow…

Greens: broccoli, cabbage (and cruciferous vegetables in general), kale, parsley and all other greens are high in calcium. Also tahini is very high is calcium and iron. It's also highly calorific, but one tbsp of tahini in its "raw" form (before adding the water and flavorings to it - often named "sesame butter") contains…
