I buy flaxseeds and grind them at home using a coffee grinder (eating them whole is claimed to be useless, and you have to freeze them after you grind them to preserve their health benefits). It seems to be the cheapest option. You're supposed to have one tbsp of ground flaxseed a day (I think it tastes nice actually,…

I'm the same height as you. I'm 113 lbs and I'm pretty small, I mean my collar bones are very visible and I don't think it's an attractive thing (it's still a healthy weight). I think you're at a good weight. :) I think you should do what YOU think and not what others tell you, but bear in mind we're our own self's worst…

I often do the same thing with lunch. :) Often I start eating and then when I'm not hungry anymore I just leave it and eat the rest of it later.

I think sometimes people aren't comfortable saying anything. At your height and weight it's impossible not to notice. But I think people don't always know if it's intentional or they don't feel they can comment on your body. Especially if you haven't told them you were working on losing weight... Also, maybe the clothes…

Could also be because peanut butter is so yummy... :) That's why I never have it around the house because if I did I'd be enormous.
-
You can also use cornstarch or potato starch, apple puree or peanut butter for sweet recipes.

I thought a cup was 200 ml. Oops... That explains a lot.

Just had to look it up.... Wow, as someone who ate an actual military diet for several years, that's not it. Don't know why it's called that... :) Seriously though, just one serving of vegetable a day? Doesn't sound like a good idea. And it doesn't seem sustainable. Ditch the diets if you want long-term change.

I'm one of those freaks who prefer public transport.

Why? Just eat normal portions of healthy food (whatever that is to you). Crash diets don't work, choose something that works in the long run and you can keep doing to maintain your weight after you lose.

I eat some carbs before and protein after. How much really depends on you - I used to eat fruit before but it didn't sustain me throughout the workout, so now I usually have a small sandwich (still you don't want to feel heavy during the workout so you don't want to eat too much). But trial and error's the best way to know…

The key rule to choosing a lifestyle is how sustainable it is. Can you keep doing this until the last day of your life? If you can, then go ahead. If not, then keep looking.

Heavy weights are your friends!

No face.. umm... 35?

Yes - buying fresh ingredients and cooking from scratch, and not buying packaged food. Much cheaper and much healthier, but takes more work. In my hardest times I had hardly 10$ a week to spend on food. I lived off lentils, rice and vegetables.

One of the best kinds! Lindy Hop lesson and then a super fun party for 3 hours, and walking there and back - 25 minutes for every direction.

This site is full of trolls, don't take anything that happens on the forums personally.

Veganism can be a pretty broad world-view and it includes many things. When it comes to diet, veganism means avoiding all animal products, including meat (fish is also meat), dairy, eggs and honey. People who are vegans for ethical reasons would also avoid other things that are made from animals or made exploiting animals,…

Titanic. Remember this hit from the 1990's? Sure. Tried to watch. It was boring and I fell asleep. Memento. The worst of them all was Great Gatsby, which was extremely corny, the acting was terrible, the female lead role was super annoying and it also offended me as a swing dancer. XP

I'm not attracted to girls but I find freckles to be really cute, especially on girls.

That sounds extremely unlikely.

I would never comment anyone about the way they're dressed or their weight. Especially not to a stranger. "Wow, you're so brave to wear this even though you're fat" - that's not a compliment, that's being a *kitten*.

I've never been overweight and never ate at large quantities (I came here for fitness). But the worst thing must have been cookies almost every day.
-
I'm 115 and I think it's quite low. I feel comfortable but maybe I'd look better with 10 more pounds.

As a vegan, I believe this is a bad idea. You want to lose weight and keep it off? Change your lifestyle from today till your last one. Doing something you'd only keep doing as long as you're still losing will make you gain it back. Why not just log your food and eat less?
-
Did you put on the weight in one day? Probably not. It takes time to lose and takes time to gain. Also, people who lose quickly usually have much more to lose. You don't have much, so it takes longer.

Sometimes you have to keep looking. And sometimes it's not just the size but the pattern, too. You'll realize what patterns fit you better and it will be easier for you. And maybe start shopping on the web, too.

"Skinny" is such a bad word to use here... And a bad thing to aspire to. But there are so many things in life to enjoy, and having good health and being in good shape will allow you to enjoy life more. And for longer of course.

Be patient. Remember you were in their place too just not too long ago. Don't take it personally. And choose your battles carefully and wisely - but don't apologize for your choices. If someone consistently make snark remarks, talk to them one-on-one, tell them it bothers you and you'd appreciate it if they respected your…
