I started my on 1/1/19 (typical New Years resolution). My starting weight is at 195. I’m only 5’4” so I am definitely considered obese. I’ve lost almost 5 lbs. in 1 week. I’m also weighing myself each morning which I was told is a big no no. I should also mention that I have ME/CFS so I don’t have the energy or strength to…

One of my favorite vegan recipes is just sauteed vegetables with minced ginger, garlic, amino acids (instead of soy sauce) & olive oil. You can use whatever veggies you like but I usually use carrots, snap peas, broccoli, edamame, & red peppers. Then put the veggies over cooked soba noodles. salt and pepper to taste. It's…

Wow... Amazing transformation. I only have 50 lbs to lose and I thought it was a lot. But, I've done it before and I know I can do it again. Thank you for the reminder that it's a slow and steady process. I'm currently on medication for high blood pressure, acid reflux, a couple other things. All of which are attributed to…

I don't know if I'd call a cheat day/meal. I do indulge in the occasional "sin" foods or alcohol. Mostly I just fit it in with my daily calorie intake but sometimes I go over. No biggie. I make up for it the next day with excersize. I never indulge in super sugary foods though. For me, I found that even the slightest…

My story is very similar.

I'm at 1200. But I consulted with my doctor first and because I'm a vegetarian, I take vitamin supplements to meet my daily nutritional needs.

I've been vegetation for almost my whole life (since age 6). I used to be pescatarian but within the last 2 years, I've adapted the lacto-ovo vegetarian diet. I've never felt better. Feel free to add me. My diary is open. :)

Hi, I'm looking for motivational friends as well. I live in Antelope (north of Sacramento but south of Roseville) I'm restarting my weight loss journey. I lost 60 lbs back in 2013 then sustained a shoulder injury and had to stop teaching yoga. I eventually fell into a depression because I wasn't able to workout and found…

Brilliant... I never even thought of a stationary bike. I will give it a go tomorrow. Thank you.

I saw an ENT today to try and find the cause. They don't know ☹️ but they tried some Epply maneuvers (sp?) and said it would remedy itself. I think it may be sinus related but unfortunately I'm so sensitive to meds, there is very little I can take for it.

Good to know....Thank you. :flowerforyou:

This really is not an issue you should be seeking advice from on MFP. Yes, there may be some doctors/Nurses on here that will give advice on how to reduce nausea. But, ALL of them should tell you the same thing, with out seeing you in person and/or knowing your medical history, they cannot give you adequate advice. My…

No crushes here... BUT, when I see a body I'm envious of (man or woman), I become that scary stalker. "sits back and watches because it"s fun to make you uncomfortable".

Just so you know, I did see you. I was just pretending I didn't. Fun times... Oh and the V.S. bag was full of ____:noway: _____!!!

It sounds to me that you have a lot more going on than just wanting to lose weight. If you don't get your life stresses under control then, even if you do lose the weight, it will be extremely difficult to keep it off. (I speak from personal experience) Find an outlet for your stress. For me, I was never a runner but I now…
