As far as I can tell. They might have smaller sizes in their petites section.

These are UK sizes. Subtract 4 to get your real size. Therefore, a UK 4 is a US 0.

Basically, there's been some major vanity sizing going on lately. Jeans at places like Old Navy & Gap (owned by the same company, I'm pretty sure) vanity size so that if you're a 12, your jean size will read 10 or 8. It supposedly makes women feel better about themselves and more likely to buy. But most true jean companies…

lol, I hope you're trolling.

Cutting out candy was hardest for me. I haven't actually changed my eating habits (I ate very healthily already) except cutting my calories from around 1600 to 1200 a day. The only thing that gets me is the candy/chocolate, which I can eat scary amounts of at the time.

I'm not really angry about the tight clothes because buying cute workout gear is one thing I'm really looking forward to (once I'm actually at a size that they sell nice gear for!) But I won't lie, as a university student my gym is packed with 18-22 year-olds who are physically at their peak and it's incredibly…

The snack packs are way too tempting for me; I can rarely stop at one. When I first started, I tried them, but I realized that even one super-sugary thing will throw me right off the wagon. So now I go cold turkey.

The larger you are, the more you'll lose at the beginning, especially water weight and stuff. I don't think 5 pounds per week is unrealistic for the first couple weeks but it will definitely slow down after a bit.

Log everything, exercise regularly, eat healthy (not just low-calorie), seek advice when you need it and DO NOT give up.

Those are fantastic results, great job and keep it up!

you look so much younger! Fantastic job

I seriously debate writing this... but once in high school (like 4 years ago?) I MADE chocolate icing from icing sugar, cocoa, butter, vanilla and milk and just ate and ate. Probably my lowest moment.

I take Euro-Fer iron supplements, I know where I live I don't need a prescription but you do need to ask the pharmacist for them specifically.

Coffee doesn't count.... caffeine is an anti-diuretic (like alcohol) meaning that it actually makes you MORE dehydrated.
-
Well you;re already pretty small so I wouldn't suggest calorie counting but strength training to build muscle and get you toned - the muscle will burn the tummy fat for you =)

I agree that is not so much the date as getting there. Everyone has setbacks and rarely are they part of the plan. Due dates can demotivate if they aren't reached in time and cause you to focus on the failure of not reaching your goal in time instead of how much you've already accomplished. They aren't for everyone.
-
Although I haven't lost enough weight to have a real setback like this yet, I have heard from many on MFP that this often happens and is a regular part of the process - you just keep chugging until you get to your goal weight. Wherever the is progress, there will be setbacks.
-
You honestly look like a completely different person. Great job.

It's important to refuel after exercise so if you are legitimately hungry then eat those exercise calories. If it's later where you are try sticking to the veggies & protein.
-
You can change the number of servings beside it, so if you had 2 cups you change the number of servings to 2. And with fruit I just guestimate. They don't have too many calories anyway so you'll never be too far off your total.

Third year Canadian university student right hurrrr.

I would go crazy with an entire day so on Saturdays and Sundays I have one cheat meal.... usually pizza or mac&cheese. That was i can still keep within my calories for the day with a little extra work at the gym or cutting back the calories in my other meals.
